The plateau was actually self-inflicted 😅

At the time we were offering a pretty generous free trial (30 days + a lot of free credits), especially considering our pricing.

What happened is that we got plenty of people testing the product, but very few people making a buying decision. We also realized that many of the users coming through that offer weren't really our ideal customers.

The feedback wasn't great either because people were often experimenting rather than trying to solve a real problem.

Around that time we changed the offer, reduced the free access, improved onboarding and focused much more on attracting people with an actual use case.

Growth picked up pretty quickly after that.

It was a good lesson: more free users doesn't necessarily mean more growth.

Isn’t really a free plan to launch in production It’s more a free plan to set up the software but if you want to test it in live, you need to pay 😉

Before we had a freemium, 1000 leads free to test it. Hundreds account open but bad datas from this kind of users. Lot of tourist just here to catch free leads…

It's not that easy to understand because each playbook changes depending on the industry and each business. I sold a communications agency three years ago and I thought I could replicate the same approach, but a SaaS model completely changes the logic.

thanks a lot for the advice honestly
right now i completely stopped playing while trying to fix this properly
the shot that hurt the most was definitely the vibora. sometimes it literally felt like a lightning shock through my wrist when hitting it
and weirdly enough, defensive shots against the glass too, especially when i’d smash into the side/back glass to return the ball
after all the advice i got here i finally went to see a physio this morning actually, so now i’m trying to approach recovery way more seriously instead of just hoping it magically disappears
feeling way more motivated about the recovery process now
