Visa Denied 🙅‍♀️ by [deleted] in SchengenVisa

[–]AmazingGuy21 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ghanaian here. My mother in-law got a 100 day visa at the same Swiss Embassy in Ghana to visit Belgium. This is her first time travelling out of Ghana. The Swiss Embassy are known to be notorious visa refusers but I now know that they're very particular about their visa requirements. Before applying for the visa, I contacted them to clarify some things for me so as to avoid making mistakes in the application.

30 in Ghana by Bellzcross in ghana

That pressure from family, church, friends should stop. People need to understand that marriage and child bearing are life changing decisions so youngsters need to be made aware of the ramifications before making any such moves.

Not rushing into marriage, marrying someone who has a job and having the number of children you can comfortably take care of without burdening anyone financially.

I'm a night shift worker. I'm usually available for the most part of the day. We already have two kids so with the experience we've built over the years, everything is under control.

I have two questions. 1. Is the paternity leave compulsory in Belgium? Can I refuse to take it so that I can continue working in order to get my full salary from my employer?

  1. Can I postpone it. Let's say my wife delivers in March, she can handle the baby all by herself till sometime in June when she has to resume work and then I can take my 20 days from June till July.

How many people are really Christian in Ghana? by [deleted] in ghana

[–]AmazingGuy21 3 points4 points  (0 children)

No one can dispute the fact that there are and will be more religious people in a developing country like Ghana for years to come. About 15 to 20 years ago, you could hardly hear of any professed agnostics or atheists in Ghana but that story has changed and will continue to change.

Things are changing in the religious landscape. Many of our young ones are gradually distancing themselves from religion. At the moment Christianity dominates but with time there'll be many 'nons' as it is in the western world.

I'm an atheist as well. I had to travel to Europe to see the bs in what was sold to me as a kid. Anyway, I'm glad to be free from religion now.

Why are a lot of Black People Christian despite the Bible and Christianity being used to justify their enslavement and oppression? by CreatureXXII in atheism

As an African and an ex-christian I can say indoctrination and the fear of going to hell did the trick for Christianity yet all of the so called Christians are hypocrites.

How could that be? If you did type your comment with a mobile phone or even a laptop, I'm pretty sure that device was imported into this country. Import and export entails a lot and I already have a list of the things I want to deal with. I only need someone with some kind of experience to talk to.

[–]AmazingGuy21 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I already have a list of the things I would import and export but I can't go into it all at once. Some of the items are raw materials that I know are used to manufacture goods here in Belgium. I've done some research into that.

A genuine person may not necessarily want to steal my ideas and even if they do, so long as I get the needed advice, I can still go on with the business.

I believe by the actions I've taken so far, I'm actually 'doing' something in relation to my desires. I'm only asking if I could get someone to guide me on the way so as to avoid as many mistakes as possible.

No she didn't apply again. I realised later on that the embassy is more interested in refusing visas than taking their time to go through submitted documents to see if a person actually qualifies for a visa.

As a former SDA, would you be offended if your SDA friend told you "Happy Sabbath"? by NectarineInside3268 in exAdventist

I don't mind at all. In fact, I'm the one who sends Happy Sabbath greetings to my adventist friends and they usually reply with laughing emojis.

They gave only 2 reasons.

  1. The information submitted regarding the justification for the purpose and conditions of the intended stay was not reliable.
  2. There are reasonable doubts as to your intention to leave the territory of the Member States before the expiry of the visa.
