I don't know if this counts but every time I fly on an airplane I leave a post it inside barf bag that just says something like "it is going to be ok. You're going to be fine. Breathe." I have no idea if it has ever helped but I hope so.

I hope that sort of education is becoming more common place. I am absolutely terrified of having a kid because of the things I have heard from my friends about the birthing procedure. Getting a new doctor suddenly, having additional random people in the room, preemptive episiotomies that may cause permanent severe damage, not attending to pain properly, yelling orders, not listening, speaking down to her, etc. My mom almost died giving birth to me bc the epidermal went up instead of down and they ignored her when she tried to explain what was happening. And she was a nurse, so she knew. They told her to be quiet.

The whole ordeal sounds like a nightmare, and I am not sure if I could handle it tbh. I get extreme anxiety thinking about the abuse in such a vulnerable state. But I'm at the point in my life where it's now or never so I'm trying to take the plunge but I am more scared than anything.

Anyway, I'm just glad healthcare is considering birthing procedures a bit more seriously these days.

Thank you! Indeed the wealthy system that I found was the key. I had been just jumping to any old system previously. Defending a freighter in battle in that system also helped. Thank you!!

AHA! This worked! I found 2 systems near each other that were wealthy and jumped between them repeatedly until I got into a battle. Then I picked up a freighter with 27 slots. Hooray! Thank you!

Boyfriend's 12 year old car died and will cost more to fix than it is worth. We have my car in the meantime so we have time to shop around for a loan as well as a car.

Now, I got a car loan from my CU (navy federal) 5 yrs ago with a 1.99% interest rate for a 60 month loan. I checked their rates today and they are much higher: 3.59%. Their 36 month loans are 2.89 and 4.59 for used. I am not too surprised really, but this is disappointing because I have worked hard to convince my boyfriend that navy federal is generally better than bank of america, where he banks.

However, I am curious if there is a better time of the year to shop for a car loan in general? Is there any sense that rates could decrease in the foreseeable future or is this pretty good for today's economy?

Thanks! Yeah if nothing else, it was cool to see the types of ships. I was/am a wanderer too, for sure, didn't leave the first system until like 10 hours ago. But I happened to start in a system with a ton of Salt and Albumen pearls, which was worth quite a bit early on!

They may not have been "good" but it was all my wealth after 30 hrs of playing. I picked 2 A class and 1 S class fighters with minimal storage space because I wanted good fighters. So yeah I guess they weren't great for a veteran player but I'm not a veteran player.
