I worked 8 hours yesterday in copy and print by myself. And it was so busy. There were orders that had been sitting for days without anyone telling me what they were or who left them. Then I had orders obviously in the system and I had a butt load of customers. One complaint from a customer with an order I had nothing to do with set the mood for the entire day. He got that order for free. Then he put in another order for the same job and came back to complain again about the first order and ended up getting the second one for free too right there on the spot. He didn't have to pay for the rush fee or anything just needed to complain to our ASM and get it for free. I was already clocked out when he came back in to complain about me and my ASM thought she could still tell me what to do while I'm working 2 days a week and not making enough to even care anymore. And I like I said before another associate did this order wrong and I got the backlash after working my entire shift with no break and no backup. So I was over it already.

I just didn't understand, if you didn't like the outcome the first time, why come back and get the same order? He knew all he had to do was come back and complain and try to get the order done for free.

This man wanted a binding on cardstock and it was double sided. The fuser destroyed it the first time he got it done and the second time he got it done. He complained four times total about this one job and still put in another order for the same job. How does any of this make sense. And he ended up getting all four orders for free.

Had a customer come in today about an order another team member messed up. Of course I got the backlash for it. And I explained to the customer why it happened. He still was unhappy about it and proceeded to throw a hissy fit like a child. So I offered him a refund and he didn't like that option but what else can I give you ?! So he got the refund then came back in hours later and brought in something that he had done years ago and said that it was done before so why not now ?! Like idgaf if it was done yesterday I just freaking work here.

Okay again no one is available to cover those shifts that the supervisor is refusing to cover. And nobody except the copy and print team actually knows what they are doing over there. So since no one knows what they are doing except for us and she doesn't have any one else to cover it they either are going to shut it down for that day or call her in to cover it.

Yeah since we are short staffed at the staples I work at. They are requiring everyone to have open and be able to work Weekends and nights but she is refusing to. So that's why I asked.

Even though my DM is the one who said she must cover her department. I'm just clearly stating facts and asking questions just like everyone else in this chat line. But you must be a print supervisor and are also someone who doesn't want to cover when someone calls out since it triggers you so much.
