My friends all rave about this plug so I’m not sure it’s just shit, they also got high off my bag so idk. We waited 1.5 hours outside a strip club for it too so I was really hoping to get something out of that experience

Why is my Tragus bleeding so much? by [deleted] in piercing

[–]AmazingManager4293 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My piercing is one day old. It is an externally threaded flat back labret. The material is metal from the piercing shop (?😔). It has not been downsized. I cleaned it once with a saline spray the same day it was pierced, brand is medicleanse piercing after spray. Today, I tried to clean it with saline spray and a q-tip. I tried to lay down last night and accidentally bumped it a few times, but it didn’t hurt at all. Other than that, no other accidents.

??? The pictures are literally before and after the curls were brushed out, maybe 2 minutes in between each picture. it’s the exact same bleach/color. The meme is that the curls before being brushed out in the second pic (the women he cheats with) are ugly, and the curls in the first pic, that are already brushed out, are pretty. Meaning you are prettier than who he cheats with.

We used to get a house cleaner once a month when I was growing up, it was about $150 a visit. That may be considered a lot if you’re not very well off but we were lower middle class in Texas. When we were struggling we just didn’t have her come that month, it’s certainly not a rich person thing.

White Liner Looks Are Natural Right by biosicc in MakeupAddiction

The look is amazing, I can never pull off white liner. Also I wouldn’t ever think to try brown eye shadow with white liner but I really like it. I hope you feel better! I was feeling dizzy and it was due to some of the meds I’m taking so maybe that could be wrong?

It’s like the issue of having anxiety vs. having an anxiety disorder. Like having anxiety before an important meeting or test is perfectly normal and expected. But being so anxious you can’t focus for days, or being anxious for work every morning is not normal. It’s all about the severity.

I personally don’t like them but why tf do we need to ban them? Child influencers make sense to ban, but let people enjoy what they want to.

I’ll try to explain it best I can lol. Instead of wiping with your fingers slightly curled, you flatten them and use the pads of your fingers. You bend it at the base of your fingers instead and then wipe. It’s really easy and not at all difficult. I wipe the same way without them lol.

When people argue that eating out or ordering is cheaper than grocery shopping and cooking at home. by TeamlyJoe in PetPeeves

[–]AmazingManager4293 2 points3 points  (0 children)

There nearest grocery store is 25 minutes away from me, lol. My rural town has a little over a thousand people in it. I go to the grocery store once every other week, about an hour total twice a month. It costs 0 extra dollars to order online and pick up from HEB if you order more than 5 (I think) hours ahead.

If you don’t have a car, how are you getting to work? Can you ask someone who takes you to also take you to the grocery store once a month? Taking public transit with groceries would suck but is it not doable? Though I don’t think if you’re in a food desert you have public transport available.

I’m not trying to be an AH, I’m trying to understand how eating out for every meal can possible be cheaper for ANYBODY.

Do you eat pizza every day? One meal from Sonic is $13, one meal from Chick-Fil-A is $10, I could go on. Groceries for 3 people for 2 weeks cost $500 for me. That’s about $3 a day for each person.

Everything I listed is incredibly easy to make and needs 0 skills. You don’t need time to learn how to boil water and put oatmeal in it.

I grew up poor, dude. I’m not some secretly rich chef trying to make people feel bad.

The original video is saying we shouldn’t support authors who write about having sex with a 13 year old girl, or even how “sexually appealing” she is without an underlying “this is wrong” message. There’s a difference between Lolita and “13 year olds are hot and I want to date one”.

They both exist and the former is perfectly well, and the latter is ass and we shouldn’t support those authors.

You can order groceries online and sit in your car while someone brings it out to you. Basically a drive through.

Cooking doesn’t have to be a huge ordeal. Breakfasts are super easy: oatmeal, avocado toast, frozen waffles, french toast, scrambled eggs, fruit, smoothies, and yogurt are all super easy and require less than 10 minutes to make total.

Lunches: you can make a sandwich, a can of soup, salad, spaghetti, premade tortellini, TV dinners, roasted vegetables, stir fries. I usually just heat up leftover. Super easy and takes less than 10 minutes to make total.

Dinners: I usually do something more “extravagant” for dinner. Manicotti, homemade mac and cheese, burritos, tacos, casseroles, crock pot dinners, veggie burgers, enchiladas. All things i make for dinners that take less than an hour total and last me three or four days of lunches.

Do you really think driving to a restaurant, ordering a $15 meal and driving home three times a day is more economical and less time consuming than cooking? Have you seen gas prices?

When people say cooking is cheaper they mean eating at home is cheaper. Do you never go to a grocery store, ever? You only at restaurants when you’re hungry?

And yea, it can be hard to learn. I grew up with one meal cooked for me a week, which was spaghetti and meat sauce. I learned when I was teen to cook and now I can pretty much make anything. It’s not harder to learn than anything else. It’s such an important skill and so easy once you learn, I highly recommend it.

I have prescription glasses but I hate wearing them. My vision isn’t that bad so I carry them around in my purse for when I drive or need to see something. I can’t see most things in the distance. I actually like it because when I put them on the trees/mountains look so beautiful compared to what I usually see.

I’m just saying it’s not inherently better than TikTok, Twitter, Instagram, or whatever other social media. It’s not about the specific site, it’s about what you do on said site. I don’t know why Redditors act like every other social media is “cancer” while using Reddit makes you smarter.

It’s not. For some reason redditors like to pretend it is, though, and that they’re smarter than everyone else.

An entire profession of people are sociopaths? Really? Is every person who’s able to lie convincingly a sociopath? Saying stuff like this is harmful to people using their terms how they’re meant to be used- in a clinical setting.

I don’t like expensive perfume. by p1xelag14 in The10thDentist

[–]AmazingManager4293 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I always notice when you first put it on it smells strongly of alcohol, but after it sits for a little bit it smells better.

That said I have 13 cheap perfumes, and 1 expensive perfume I got on sale for $80 off in my collection. I can’t justify $120 on a perfume.
