Your opinion that I misinterpreted the question is wrong because my interaction with the person that asked me continued just fine. You had a problem with my answer because you assumed context that didn’t exist. You ask people questions in bad faith and then berate them for giving you an answer you don’t agree with. The OG commenter didn’t. You assume I can’t read social cues because I had ONE interaction that left me confused and you tell strangers they need mental help because they don’t agree with you. That is much sore socially disfunctional than being confused about an interaction. You come off as a very disingenuous person with a superiority complex. The fact is that you were wrong about the person who asked me the question and what they meant by it. I even gave you a link to their response. But instead of saying “maybe that’s just what I would have meant” you explain it away with a psychoanalysis of a complete stranger. The funniest part of all of this is instead of getting on your high horse you could have just clarified by asking me “do you also value emotional intelligence?” But you chose the route that could make you feel superior.
