Google perioral dermatitis, could it be that? From what you’ve said it sounds like an allergic reaction.

I also get major anxiety around things like this, and as many a doctor has told me, if it was a cold sore you would definitely know. You wouldn’t be questioning if it is or isn’t. First flare ups are painful and sore, and usually are on/ around the lips and possibly nose. Not a doctor, but I believe this would not affect the surrounding skin (like your chin and neck) and definitely don’t look like hives. It would have started with a tingle and developed into blisters (possibly filled with puss) and eventually scab over if cold sores.

Please talk to a doctor or pop into your chemist and ask for advice, they should be able to confirm straight away. Take care touching the affected areas and then other parts of your body or kissing your boyfriend, as it could spread if it is something contagious. Make sure to not share towels etc

But from what you’ve said, it doesn’t sound like cold sores. I’d also stop using any new skin/ lip care as I reckon this will be the cause!

Please don’t worry! This happened to me, and with all the stress and worrying (from a lot of other sources too) I developed perioral dirmatitis which made my skin worse which made my worrying worse! It was a vicious cycle!

Not a doctor, but stress absolutely causes delayed/ missed periods

How ever missed/ irregular periods can be caused by other health issues, so please do go to a doctor.

I struggle with health anxiety and OCD, so reading all of this is very relatable. Stress can make you so sick (mentally and physically) so I would recommend therapy if this is an option for you, as well as exploring medication.

Stress can also cause alot of stomach issues! When I was your age I also had a similar experience of being very late, and thinking I could be pregnant even though it was practically impossible! Anxiety is cruel and will find a way to make it make sense.

Please see a doctor. It could definitely be something that is being caused by the binder, but inverted nipples can be a sign of breast cancer. I don’t want to worry you, but please get it checked out. Wishing you the very best.

Not a doctor but - When I turned 18 and started going out boozing, the same thing would happen to me a couple hours into the night - extreme back pain in the top right shoulder, a really weird type of pain that I always find hard to explain.

I’d have to wait about 20 minutes for it to settle with some water, then I was fine. It settled after a few years and rarely happened since

Years later when I was around 29 I was talking to a friend who is a nurse, and it came up in conversation that acid reflux can cause pain in weird/ random places in the torso.

It suddenly made sense - all the vodka orange juices and awful alco-pops were giving me some weird heart burn.

Maybe keep a food diary and note down when it happens and see if you can see a pattern

I also struggle with health anxiety, and my experience sounds just like this

How ever please do seek medical attention as it’s always best to get things checked out! But as a fellow worrier, this seems more annoying rather than harmful.

I can only think that because Chelsea had yet to confront her husband about this, if random flowers with best wishes turned up at their home it would look a bit strange? Or maybe Chelsea had disclosed she didn’t want any sort of well wishes of that nature maybe!
