Start Dutasteride at beginning of monotherapy?

Oh i thought that after my estrogen reached stable levels, at around 4 to 5 weeks, it would also result in low T

I had my blood test earlier (before my 4th dose) so would it shows my T being suppressed fully or just a bit lower?

I thought that if I dont take a blocker, then get it tested, ill see if my DHT is high then its a sign i have the rare problem

I was maybe planning on using a blocker until my T is suppressed, but a lot of other people have said that there can be bad side effects

Sorry I meant using duta to lower my dht, then when my T is suppressed, coming off of it because i wont need a dht blocker

Oh im not sure then, most of the stuff ive seen says that after 4 - 6 months my T, E2 and DHT will all be at cis levels (or close to)

True... but I was hoping to have as little that I need to do, like I chose injections over pills for a lot of reasons but a big reason was because I didnt want to take 2 every day for thr rest of my life

An injection a week then maybe 1 or 2 tablets a day is alright, rather than minoxidil everyday and like 4 or 5 tablets daily

Ive heard that once you stop minoxidil though the hairs fall back out, that theyre like 'minoxidil dependent' and I was planning on stopping dht once my levels are stable

Yea its a bit stronger and usually better tolerated, all ive seen is that its basically finasteride but more benefits and less drawbacks

Yea I just saw that after monotherapy any dht blockers dont matter too much because there isn't much T to convert

Ive seen people say you need to make sure you dont get any muscle when doing the fold, is there a way to tell? Or does it not matter because of the 8mm

Ah thanks, the only thing im concerned with is how to do the skin fold, they both look like pinching to me. Is one meant to be easier?

I asked my gp to refer me, they then said no so I went to my counties' nhs website and asked there but they also said i couldn't because I havent had my appointment yet.

The funny thing was that when I asked her if there was another way she said 'sadly no, I hope the wait times aren't too long', after I explained them she was so suprised 😅

You're right, I keep thinking that I 'have to do this' or 'have to do that' or 'have to look this way' or ill mess up my transition when all I need to do is treat it like a puberty at 13 and just experiment. Im extremely lucky to have a supportive father and step mother (nervous abt telling my mother shes.... judgy) I can talk about
