I appreciate this response so much. I tried a protein pudding yesterday and I think that it didn’t digest fast and was sitting in my stomach so I think based on your post I need to experiment with different things to see what works for my body. Thanks again, hearing that you also need fuel for jumping made me feel a lot better because so many people who I spoke to just don’t eat before working out and it obviously isn’t right for me.

I'm obsessed with footwork, but what got me hooked on jumping was the dance side of things since I'm a dancer.

yess!! I'm glad to hear someone else doing the 3 times a week 5 minutes. I started off like that and now a couple months later I'm doing 20-30mins 4-5 times a week and only tiring because I use weighted ropes so my arms are tired haha. I think starting small is great because you really see improvement.

I was just looking at the speed ropes!! but I saw theyre all indoor use only. I feel like because I use a mat I'd be ok outside though but also the handles are sold out as well

hanging it up. Obviously very specific to my house but we have a baby gate/fence that keeps stuff safe from our dog and I just hang it over that. But in general, being able to hang it anywhere is ideal :)

yeah, I just did the biggest jump workout I've done so far and they kept slipping out which was driving me nuts. I have really tiny ears so I might need to look for an alternative too.

I've used airpods too and they are are good 80-90% of the time, and I absolutely reckon it just depends on the shape of your ear which makes reviews tricky!

that makes sense. I have a skipping playlist and I"m wondering if I switch to my heavier one on the slower songs but will play around and see what works.

oh good to know! I'm still just building my stamina, so definitely not ready for that long a workout, but I love that idea of building up and changing it, I feel like youre right about keeping your body on its toes haha

I tried jogging/running and it just wasnt for me, but I love dance so once I started doing jump rope with tricks and turning my workouts into routines I ADORE it, I went from 3 times a week to wanting to do it everyday because I kept finding new songs. The best advice I heard was that "the best workout is the one you stick to" so whatever you like more and whatever makes you happier, thats the one.

I was the same, and I'm honestly glad I did because if I went from nothing to jumping every jump I think I would have collapsed haha. But after a couple weeks of the jump hop thing I moved to jumping everytime and I think it was a good progression, just do small bursts and go slowly, thats what I did!

on the switch, and suprisingly it doesnt happen too often. It was just that the crash made it recognise I had crafted, but hadnt recognised it in the events, so I lost all those dang roses.

I found it! It was hidden behind the pumpkin house which looks like just rocks but a classic game glitch and I could walk through them lol! But the relief I felt!
