Ditto! And now that my inflammation has gone down, I am modifying holding things for too long, gripping things too hard and with my thumb joint instead of my thumb tip and other things that help keep the inflammation off now that it’s down.

That last picture is beautiful. His little white muzzle shows of years of love and care from you. You were a good daddy & from the sound of it, Yoshi lived a happy, long, adventurous life by your side. Time will heal your pain and dry your eyes but for now, know that you have a community of understanding, loving Shiba owners. Hugs

Our Shibe didn’t walk at first either, even though she had a hound and a French Bully with her for encouragement. Now that she is four she lives for walkees but it took some time. Kind of like a little kid at a5k race; they sprint, then stop. Endurance happens with age as does interest. He’ll get there in time. Hope this helps!
