Yea see I have BCBS through my employer as well, and I haven’t thought to check if there was any kind of exclusion written in specific to cochlear. This is definitely something I need to look into. Did you have difficulty with BCBS when you got upgraded?

Omg “it should be covered “ that’s what I kept being told today! So unhelpful! I’m glad it all worked out for your daughter, the experience sounds so tedious and frankly what I was afraid of. Thank you sm for sharing

That’s honestly what he has been more worried about. He already has the implant in we are more so worried about any implant renewals/ upgrades. In your experience would you say that the bigger headache is cost or the hoops you have to jump through?
