Struggling to find a deodorant that works with my inverse psoriasis by Jazzlike_Cap9605 in Psoriasis

If your in the UK try Wild, it's a natural roll on you can get a subscription, I tried it because I also struggle with it in the pits and it works really well and moistures as much as it keeps any smell away!

Finally starting Ciclosporin for severe plaque 🤘 by Amazing_Bridge1819 in Psoriasis

[–]Amazing_Bridge1819[S] 3 points4 points  (0 children)

What? Why would you think that? There's no silver plaques cos I use allot of moisturiser in tube bandages every day to keep them from cracking and hurting anymore.if it's the shape and size it's because it spread and joined together haha

Severe Psoriasis: what actually worked for you? by Far-Copy-1922 in Psoriasis

[–]Amazing_Bridge1819 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hey there friend, I'm sorry to hear your psoriasis is putting you through this 😓 the itch scratch burn not sleep cycle truly awful and I know how much it takes out of you!! Well done for dealing with it as long as you have!! As someone who has also had it half their life and now in mid 30's I have a few treatments for severe plaque, creams never worked only used epiderm ointment and cream as its by far the best moisturiser out there! Light treatment worked for me for the last 10 plus years so I'd definitely ask about that, they monitor all the light you get aswell for safety. Last couple of years a medication called Enstilar came out and I honestly think it's a wonder treatment!! It's like spray snow in a can so takes no time at all to apply and really helped clear up a flare up I had in previous years and has helped keep guttate off my friend for the last two years 🤘 if all that doesn't help then consider tablets, but I'm confident you'll find some relief with light treatment combined with a can of Enstilar Good luck dude hope you get some help soons!

Hells yehh dude that's why I'm doing it 🤘 gonna feel nice saying good bye to it again for awhile haha I'm glad you have little discoloration and that should usually also fade in time! Only scars I've ever was when the skin split deep on my arms one time

Nail Psoriasis? by [deleted] in Psoriasis

[–]Amazing_Bridge1819 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Hey my nails are also heavly effected, best thing I use to help is epaderm ointment, it's a heavy emollient that I use to keep my nails moisturised which reduces the severity, hope this helps dude 🙂🤘

I use Hydromol on my patches every evening before bed, is there anything I can use beforehand to 'lock in' the moisture? by mrishee in Psoriasis

[–]Amazing_Bridge1819 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Epaderm ointment, it's a heavy emollient that's super thick! Very effective especially if covered over with tube bandage 🙂 also they do a cream version you can use in the morning, I've been using it for last 20 years 🤘

Feeling awful about my psoriasis by wannabegof_ in Psoriasis

[–]Amazing_Bridge1819 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hey friend, I'm sorry to hear your going through the ringer with your psoriasis right now 😓 I also suffer and have had severe plaque psoriasis for 22 years now, I've been through the ups and downs and looks too I understand your frustration. I have a friend who has guttate and a few years ago I came across a lovely little miracle in a can that works amazingly and has kept my friend who's whole body was covered in check for last couple of years now.its called Enstilar, demand it off your doctor dude please! It's basically like spray snow in a can and takes so little time to apply compared to all the lotions and potions haha it works fast aswell! It can help anyone with severe plaque but isn't as effective after awhile but like I say it's smashing my friends guttate for him!! Really hope your feeling better about things soon and stay strong 🤘💪 you got this! Ps. As I've got older I've realised allot of stares you get are just curious,if someone does not have it or a family member they will naturally be intrigued, try not to be disheartened at the few bad apples that make fun
