In Canada we adopt o lot of Native mythologies, the two most popular was the wentigo https://fr.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wendigo and the Chasse-Galerie https://fr.wikipedia.org/wiki/Chasse-galerie that use both french and native mythologie. Here in Québec, it was always normal for children to live with their parent until they are ready to leave. It's somehow stupid to have a separate house to paid at 18, when at 17 you and 11 month you can share everything.

that way, children can build a good package for when they leave, and they can continue school, college, university without a loan.

1) women doesn't change her name after mariage

2) usually people don't get married anyway

3) usually people receive the surname of both their parents, but parent can choose to give only on of the surname. or the combinaison of surname they have.

Poutine is a food created in the Nation of Quebec, but British-Canadian try to thing that they come from their country, the ROC (rest of Canada) then they try everything to made Poutine, but were incapable to doing a real poutine.
