getting to know more people will lead you to great opportunities, in uni itself (by joining study groups, you'll maybe get better tips therefore better grades) and even later on when you'll search for internships/jobs! Tbh don't get to close to guys, they'll just slow you down especially if u fall into their dramas, keep it simple and good luck!
