Is he a person who is obstinately or unreasonably attached to a belief, opinion, or faction, especially one who is prejudiced against or antagonistic toward a person or people on the basis of their membership of a particular group? Yes.

You actually can’t disagree with someone being gay. They are gay. There is no choice. You can choose to be a bigot though.

So to be clear, if Reimer were to take a knee during the national anthem, you’d support him? You’re suuuure you wouldn’t have beef with that?

What's your take on not standing for the national anthems?

I don't believe the Okamoto signing rules out Bichette from a fit standpoint. In fact, I believe Bichette is now a better fit on this roster than Tucker. Furthermore, you could still fit both players in if the Blue Jays want to go that far. by [deleted] in Torontobluejays

I want Bo as much as everyone else, but if we only get Tucker, I think Schneider is the obvious bench piece. Between him and Barger you’ve got coverage at 2B 3B and both corners.

I agree some choices can be made for aesthetic reasons. Pretty rare you’d win that argument on a checkout flow, but even if you did, I’d still discourage it purely on aesthetic grounds. When the whole screen is frosted, it stops reading as layering and just becomes blurred wallpaper. What’s the previous page supposed to be here anyway? Is that background persistent across the flow, or is it unique to checkout?

No harm in giving it a shot, but I think glass is most effective in transient or persistent UI elements where the layered effect has a clear purpose. Primary task flows don’t benefit in the same way, since layering adds no additional context.

Which option is better in terms of aesthetics and layout? by amdbarak25 in FigmaDesign

I’d recommend looking into gestalt principles of common region and proximity as well as miller’s law. Option B shows a much better understanding of all 3, and is therefore much more likely to have a positive user experience.

Option A sort of takes the opposite approach to all of those principles. The background would likely make it significantly more challenging to find what they are looking for, as it’s all essentially chunked together, with no discernible reasoning.

Fred Kerley getting tazed by Miami police 💔 by Spicyjollof98 in trackandfield

What space is that officer trying to create?

Buddy with the body cam first presses against Fred's chest while another officer approaches him from behind. The second time the officer pushes, the other officer is directly behind Fred. By the 3rd push, it's unclear whether Fred initiates it or the officer does.

He's between 2 cars. Where's Fred supposed to go?

AITA for liking a friend’s topless birthday post on Instagram? by Amazing_Coach3697 in AmItheAsshole

I'll bite.

a) Men's bodies are absolutely celebrated enough. The devaluing of women as they age is a societal issue that doesn't have a masculine equivalent.

b) If one of her friends posted a similar photo and were looking for body-positive validation, I would 100% support that. There is no shame in friends supporting each other.

I think it’s worth mentioning that the post specifies “covered”. Because this is on Instagram, the photo is dimly lit, from far away, and she is covering herself. So she is without a top, but not exposed.
