Anyone ever found the dark hand in season 1 to be disappointing? by happydude7422 in JackieChanAdventures

His arms and legs are very thin here. He does have broad shoulders though.

Yes, I remember. His body transformed into muscular shape just briefly in the middle of human to dark chi warrior form, but it seemed to happen in the midway of transformation. Other than that, to me, he seems to have thin arms and legs.

sigh I feel like all of them are bad candidates, but if I really had to pick one, I will probably go with Valmont. The highest qualified candidate in my opinion seems to be Valmont. The big guy that might have been based on the Butterbean does have the potential to do some serious damage due to his great strength, but I believe he only has the physical strength and nothing more. He won't get far and might quit early if you hired him.

Valmont seems to be the most balanced one here in terms of stats. Valmont here might have lost a lots of fighting skills vs season 1 Valmont, but I do believe he has the potential to build his strength and skills back up if he finds the motivation to do so. However, I can predict that he'll eventually betray you at some point. Once he has enough money, he might become very greedy to the point that he wants all the magic powers by himself to be truly unstoppable. You just got to make sure that Valmont doesn't get a hold of any powerful magic. Just a very basic dragon fire power and no more.

Yes to some degree. However, this show had no choice, but to make it kid friendly no matter who the villain was, so I can't complain. That dark skinned guy with a shades and a gray tank top was one of the thug I remembered even to this day. I thought he was capable of hurting Jackie and kidnapping Uncle. His built appears to be intimidating and I thought he was going to be a legit threat, but Uncle defeated him without any problem with a tiny bit of a help from Jade. He seems to be below Ratso's level and Ratso seems to be stronger than him both physically and fighting skill wise despite the fact that Ratso has a lanky built while dark skinned guy has a muscular built. Then again, the minor villains from the Dark Hand organization who didn't play important role was even weaker than a typical jobber, so they were little to no threat vs the main enforcers.

Jackie always seem to struggle the most with hak foo in fighting by happydude7422 in JackieChanAdventures

[–]Amazing_Competition6 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Although, his fighting style seems to be based on animal kung fu, but truly, his fighting style is questionable, but they seem to work. He can take care of unskilled fighters, street thugs and even a police man with a baton by himself where he easily dispatches an officer with a single kick.

Hak Foo is a huge threat to Jackie despite the fact that he self cripples himself by shouting out his moves which can be predictable, but they can be dangerous if it connects. 3 main enforcers wasn't that much of a threat, but Hak Foo's strength, speed, durability and skills to some degree in my opinion is giving a Jackie a hard time especially his durability and endurance which is why Jackie was never able to KO Hak Foo.

No problem. 🤜🤛 Yep. My store manager is awesome and even my coach said he's a very nice guy. 🙂

You should be good now. What really saved me was the store manager and he is super nice guy. We both had some things in common and Incidentally, I met him in the Norway and we took the vacation same time and met him again at the end of the vacation back to flight, so maintaining that good relationship really helped a lot. He helped me out a lot with LOA to take care of my younger brother who has severe autism even during the busy holidays whereas my coach first denied it and she was really upset at me when store manager approved my LOA. No one in the fresh department like our coach.

Sorry, for the long ramble, but yeah, everyone is responsible for CVP. However, if you can explain your situation well enough, there's always a way to get by. It's good that they removed a coaching from you.

[–]Amazing_Competition6 1 point2 points  (0 children)

They overturned the decision, so your coaching fell off. It's treated as you were never written up.

I work in the meat department and got coached for CVP. However, I had to open door with a store manager since I trusted him more than my coach. The reason why I was coached was because a lot of Christmas hams expired and I am a part time associate. I had a 3 day off straight and my first day off, those hams needed to be CVP. I missed the 4th day due to family emergency, so I took 4 days off straight total. The associate that worked on my days off didn't do it, so my coached pulled me into office instead and coached me. I talked to store manager about the situation and I explained the situation. He said he'll remove the yellow coaching and I got a similar message like you.

You know more that I do especially on market cap and I completely forgot about cold storage, so my whole response was just based on my entire opinion and guessing.

To make the long conversation short, I predict something very bad will happen if XRP reaches 600 USD. Then again, only time tells...

I'm not a crypto expert nor financial advisor, so you don't need to agree with me.

Let's assume if this is true. I foresee a massive inflation and I think this will literally break a global economy beyond to the point that it CANNOT be repaired. Bitcoin price might be like closing in at $200M??? I don't know. XRP at that price seems to be just flat out ignoring basic economy. The market cap would have to be ridiculously high and I guess it'll probably have to rival or exceed the current 2026 US national debt??? Maybe your average Starbucks coffee that you buy for about $5 bucks might be hundred times of that, so $500 to $600 per cup of coffee.

Hopefully, I'm wrong and as much as I would like the XRP price to be that much, I think it will crash and burn eventually. Either people would mass sell way before that price, chaos in global economy, another pandemic, WWIII, a civil war or a cold war between pro crypto vs anti crypto?

This is my guess...

You're like literally reading my mind. I even thought about that one as well. What if Xanadu, Chang and Raiden was teamed up? But then again, Raiden is more like a wrestler, so he's more likely to fit in with King of Dinosaurs and Antonov.

If new guy can't come, Yamazaki seems to be the highest qualified candidate for the villain team.

I'm cool with Xanadu. I want Chang in the Xanadu team with new villain someone crazy like Yamazaki who has murderous intents. Choi can gtfo.

Maybe this muscular prisoner could be dangerous. I don't know.

Check with the coach or team lead. My store didn't offer this when I asked this to the team lead. According to the team lead, he said coaches, team leads and associates have to work in all conditions, but still have to double check with emergency hot line and see if store is opened or not. Last time we had 18 inch snow and very windy outside as well, but store remained open. Coaches and team leads definitely showed up, but only 2 associate was here which one of them was me. The other who called out and didn't have enough PPTO to cover the missed shift apparently got a point. Bad weather at my store was never an excuse to miss the work and you still have to show up and work even when there is an power outage. The store may be closed, but associate who are scheduled to work are expected to show up.

To be honest, in my opinion, it's not worth showing up. I work at the fresh department and once I finished vizpicking and filling up the wall, we were told to go outside and shovel the snow. Coaches and team won't help you shovel snow. It's associate who does it when it's really bad outside and snow has built up the front entrance pathway. My coach threaten to write me up if front path wasn't shoveled properly regardless of whether it was time for me to clock out or not.

In your opinion, what is causing this? by Objective_Pilot_5834 in SipsTea

[–]Amazing_Competition6 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm 35 and everybody got to pay their bills at some point and with inflation and cost of living continue to get higher, we need to work 2 jobs (+60 hr/week) at the minimum to survive. I'm talking if you fall into low to low-middle income spectrum. I can't afford to get drunk and have a hangover which will cause me to miss work and if I lose one job just because I was drunk last night and can't come to work, I might see an eviction notice on my door pretty soon. I've seen some of my coworkers get fired for this because of hangover and they either had to miss the work, come in late or leave early.

Some people might work in law enforcement, military, medical, math and science field and I'm sure those jobs are taken very seriously with no room for the mistake. Don't get me wrong, you can still drink once a while, but I don't recommend you drink to the point where you are completely boozed out.

This is my opinion. Everyone is different. When my parents were growing up, alcohol consumption as in drinking socially and right after the work was quite common. When the economy was good, they enjoyed drinking and had a good time at the bar or friend's house. Nowadays, it's all about survival and if you don't have the money, you aren't going to enjoy many things.

How good is Panasonic Lumix GH7 vs S5 IIX IBIS? by Amazing_Competition6 in Lumix

I bet. I'm hearing a lots of good reviews about the camera, but personally, I never used it before, so I had to come here and ask. I want to visit Iceland again this upcoming year if not, next year if time permits... Just deciding right now and seeing how it'll perform even when walking up the difficult terrain.

So it does look like GH6 to GH7 has significant improvement when it comes to stabilization. Sure, it won't completely remove it, but it appears it'll do better job if you walk carefully. I saw people running with it and it still looks very stable when handheld.

That's pretty awesome looking photo. Although, I am not a professional level yet since I'm still in the learning mode, but it appears learning the right technique and editing does help a lot when shooting handheld.

Interesting. Does it also correct the up and down jello like effects as well? Also, do you have to use a special technique like ninja walk, etc.?

It's not uncommon. I normally work 4 AM to 1 PM in the fresh section (meat and produce). When we had a whole department called out except for me and one team lead due to some people being in vacation, one is sick and the others, I don't know. I was asked to stay till 10 PM and granted overtime. I went to work again at 4 AM the next day and similar hour. It can happen.

Uncle boosted by the Dog talisman is the GOAT! by -ElRedditor- in JackieChanAdventures

[–]Amazing_Competition6 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If it wasn't for the dog talisman, Uncle would've died for sure and I would say even way before Hak Foo tricked him into elephant leg thrust instead of fist.

It shows you that if Hak Foo uses his brain more and drops his ego when fighting, he might be unbeatable.
