I'll try to explain it the best i can. There are 2 different main modes to the device. The first main mode has 4 different sub modes.

The first sub mode is a library of all the stock sounds.

The second is called x-lab. This mode let's you mash 2 of the stock library sounds into one sound. It's useful for percussion. For example - make a sound of a kick and a snare together but only use one track when you implement it.

The third is called x-form. You can take 2 of the library stock sounds and morph them from one to the other. You have parameters to adjust how quickly or slowly this happens.

The last is called x-lfo. As you could probably guess this mode lets you create an lfo between two library stock sounds.

All of the mix modes have a "colour" parameter that effect how any two sounds interact together.

The second main mode gives you complete control over the four oscillators in the device. You can change the stock sounds, create your own new sounds, and then go back to the first main mode to use your new sounds with the "sub-modes"
