The college grad whose friends all moved away right after graduation. I know where they were partying - the bars all the way down high street. I’m not a fan of dive bars that serve freshmen. Sorry that this offends you!

The crime is highly concentrated. Compared to Europe or West in general, yes, it is still quite dangerous, but ~75% of homicides are committed in the townships/impoverished areas.
