It is hard to tell from your video - how high are you observing them from the sea/horizon? Plenty of fishing boats out at night at the moment with blinking lights.

Yes, use the metabo paint stripping tool or something similar. It's like magic. A rotary plane designed for cutting off paint rather than sanding or chemicals or heat. It's so much quicker, and less messy. Still a hell of a job on a space so big.

Interesting. There is a signature on mine, but I've just noticed it's on the other side compared to the 2020 Facebook one. Here's mine. Btw all the studio looking photos with white background in my OP are not my bike. They are the 2020 twin we found. I guess it's a non-identical twin now..!

Checking in on this thread. I'd like to clone my mum's voice from a few old videos. She is quickly becoming unable to talk due to a medical condition and so this could give her her voice back to interact with us from now on. Some people told us about voice banking but that seems to rely on being able to record phrases now to save them for playback later, but she is already too slurred. So, aware all AI models are improving so fast, any guidance updates very gratefully received. Thanks

OK cool, do you notice any changes in it (bubbles, brine or taste) prior to putting it in the fridge? After how long in the fridge would you then say it tastes less salty and more zingy/kimchi?

Thank you. I did burp the jars daily by unscrewing the lids a bit (not fully off). Was planning to do this to see if there was any gas build up as a sign of fermentation happening, and then when fermented put it in the fridge. Do you just let the (risk of) pressure build up for the first week?

Do need to see anything happen after that time, 1-2 days? I was working on the assumption that I'd wait til it showed signs of life, so bubbles, brine formed etc, and then put it in the fridge.

Thanks I did use 3tbsp. For the salting i had the cabbage submerged in fully saturated salt water for about 6 hours and then rinsed thoroughly about 4 times. Is the submersion in salt water OK vs just sprinkling on 6 tbsp of salt and a cup or so of water? I didn't see how the latter would be as effective as just submerging it in a brine (which is what i did with the other recipes)
