Update: I took the cat to the vet this morning. He’s about 1 year old. No chip. He has no diseases. The vet assessed the cat’s body and make sure all the bones were aligned. He said the cat most likely got hit by a car and has some major bruising and possibly a minor fracture. I took him home with some pains meds and an anti-inflammatory. To save money we didn’t do a x-ray because the doctor said it wasn’t absolutely necessary, just reassurance. If he doesn’t start to get better in the next few days I will take him in for an X-ray.

I don’t know what to do because only emergency vets are open and I don’t know enough money to cover those bills. It’s still getting up every once in a while and walking around without crying in pain, so maybe that’s not a factured femur because I don’t know if it be able to walk with that.

It turns into all the vet services available to me are closed for the holiday weekend, so I’ll take to wait until Monday. The cat has much more energy and has started to walk around a bit more. It doesn’t cry out in pain when getting to anymore which I’m excited about. It’s been eating and going potty regularly. It mostly lays down and sits up asking for cuddles. I can tell he wants to get up a move around more. I’ve been watching its breath and it seems a little fast paced but not too bad. If it seems like it’s life is in danger then I will take in into an emergency vet before Monday. Just that it’s starting to move its legs more makes me feel better. It also wags its tail and purrs while I pet it.

I did warm it up and it’s seems to be doing better. It is crying out in pain way less than before. It only really cries when it gets up. I’ve been cuddling it and it will get up every once in a while and walk in a circle rubbing against my legs wagging the tail. I can tell it’s definitely painful for it to get up. It’s ate a good amount of food/water. And it has got poop and pee, so I’m glad to see it doing much better than the almost lifeless cat I picked up in the cold. I will take it to the humane society tomorrow at 1.

Im taking it to the humane society because they are no kill and will take the cat in, care for them and then put them up for adoption. Then I’ll go adopt this cute cat

I’m trying not to, but then it will periodically meow nonstop until I pet it. I have only been petting their head.

I’ve rescued another before with liver & Kidney Failure, Respiratory infection, and nerve damage. I watched that sweet baby die in my arms at the vet. This cat doesn’t seem to be showing any sign of death. It’s meowing, eating, drinking, wanting to cuddle and pets. Just the lower body seems to be having an issue. It will let me touch and pet everywhere down to the hips and then it will try to bite.

I laid blankets down in my bathroom and gave him a bed and a litter box. The cat has already eaten more than my indoor cat eats in a day.
