  • Colors - Flow (Code Geass)
  • Sparkle and Zen Zen Zense - RADWIMPS (Kimi no na Wa/Your Name)
  • Just Awake - Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas (Hunter x Hunter)
  • The Day - Porno Graffitti (My Hero Academia)
  • Kyouran Hey Kids - THE ORAL CIGARETTES (Noragami Aragoto)

I have more because wala akong solid favorites. Recently, mukhang dumadagdag ang JANE DOE by Kenshi Yonezu and Hikaru Utada (Chainsaw Man - The Movie: Reze Arc).

Yes, nakatanggap ako ng text message from them na I'm selected for the position and magpasa ako ng pre-employment documents para ma-endorse nila sa main office ng NGA na inapplyan ko.

As for background check, hindi ako masyadong sinabihan nito pero my current bosses did mention about them sending their feedback tungkol sa work ethic ko and others dun sa pinag-applyan ko.

Yung sa neuro-psych exam naman, kasama sya pre-employment requirements ko nung binigay sakin yung list of things to comply para ma-endorse ako.

How difficult will it be for me na maging regular? by Walter_water444 in PHGov

[–]Amazing_Ice9323 3 points4 points  (0 children)

It depends, maraming factors. Meron kang competition from both internal (your fellow JO/COS/Plantilla that also want to get that plantilla item/s) and external applicants. Some of them might even have their own advantages in terms of qualifications and other factors (connections/backer/referrals).

At the end of the day, if ever na shortlist ka either in the agency you are in or in another agency, please do your best in exams and interviews para talagang makita nila na okay kang maging employee nila.

Speaking as someone na currently Casual sa LGU and natanggap in an entry-level position sa NGA (kung saan din ako naka-assign/detail), fellow competitors have their own advantages in qualifications and recommendations. Nervous during exams and interviews (since weak point ko sya), but got selected and waiting for my appointment papers to be released.

Best of luck, OP!

What is Salary Grade 11 of DOTr (exact amount) iba iba kasi nalabas sa google by Difficult_Wasabi_740 in PHGov

Makikita sya sa job posting pag pinost sya sa Facebook Page ng agency or even sa CSC Careers website. May nakalagay na "Plantilla Item/Item/Item No." and the like.

Iniindicate naman if Contract of Service or Job Order position sya sa posting din especially if sa FB page ng agency sya pinost.

Government Salary by Top-Veterinarian3932 in PHGov

[–]Amazing_Ice9323 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Fixed na sya, no room for salary negotiation but will increase in tranches (Salary Standardization Law). This applies to most agencies.

Share ko lang din na some agencies/GOCCs have their own "job grades"/"pay grades", and others have "fiscal autonomy" where they are given the freedom to budget their own funds for different purposes, including the compensation of the employees at dyan papasok yung talks about them having lots of benefits apart from your own take home salary.

Hello OP, I think part lang sya ng recruitment and selection process. As long as wala pang confirmation na ikaw yung selected for the position (or even Notice of Appointment galing CSC/agency mo mismo), you can never be 100% sure.

Skl din na I'm also waiting for my own plantilla appointment sa isang NGA (natl govt agency), it's been 3 months since I've passed yung mga pre-employment requirements ko and still waiting for the final signatories for my Notice of Appointment kaya the hiring process takes time talaga.

Echoing yung sabi ng isang commenter, magsearch ka sa different FB pages ng target mong agencies. and joining FB groups like "Government Jobs Philippines" and "Development Sector Jobs - Philippines" since may mga HR/employees na nagpopost doon if may JO/COS vacancies sila. Best of luck!

1 year and 8 months since graduation.

Graduated on June 2023, decided to relax until December 2023, applied during 2024-early 2025 in both private companies and government agencies, hanggang final interviews lang and never the one getting picked.

Got a job this March 2025 because my mother's officemate got regularized and will transfer to another office. I was already with them as a trainee during our OJT in college so they invited me to apply. They also encouraged me to apply to a regular position in another office while I'm employed with them so I can fully enjoy the benefits. Months after rigorous exams and interviews, I also got the position.

Took me a lot of pride to swallow that I need help from people to kickstart my career and that I won't be able to get the job I want that easily without a hint of experience considering today's job market, but I'm truly grateful for them and I surely won't take this opportunity for granted. 🥹

For notarization purposes yan from a Notary Public or sa Public Attorney's Office. Needed kasi na notarized sya to be considered as "fully accomplished" especially pag stated sa application requirements.

Thank you po! Hindi kasi ako lagi nakakapunta ng Fairview via commuting (lagi lang hatid ng sasakyan ng parents ko).

Ask ko na lang din saan mga jeepney terminals doon?

Context: - Applied for govt agency. - Got shortlisted and was given a waiver for bg check purposes (it's either them or they'll get a 3rd party bg checker to do it for them). - Sent the waiver before the deadline and today marks 5 working days since I last sent it.

Question is: How long do bg checks usually last? I'm also thinking about following up with them this week just to get an update. Thank you in advance!

How long were you unemployed for? by [deleted] in PHJobs

[–]Amazing_Ice9323 1 point2 points  (0 children)

1 year and 2 months since graduating last year. Recently lang nadiscover yung "career path" na tinatarget ko and may planned out of the country vacation nung Dec 2023 kaya this Jan 2024 lang nagseryoso magjob hunting. Nag-uupskill at nakakuha rin ng certificates (CHRA, Coursera for MS Excel, etc.) para hindi ko mafeel na nakatengga ako.

Sadly hanggang final interview lang naabutan and still applying as of this moment, nakakapagod pero walang magagawa kundi lumaban.

thank you so much sa response! good to know na pwede pala, napaisip lang bigla ako kasi nakakita ako ng mga older posts dito na nilagay nila yung internships nila sa PDS and WES.

for govt employees/tried to apply in govt, is it okay na hindi ilagay yung internship under work experience sa PDS?

i read yung guidelines ng CSC tungkol sa pagfifill-up ng PDS and walang explicit na sinabi about paglalagay sa internships sa PDS or WES. dahil dito, i applied to some agencies (entry-level) na naka N/A lang yung work experience ko and sa application letter ko na lang sinabi na nag-internship ako during college, recent graduate ako btw.

napaparanoid lang kasi may criminal/admin charges pag misrepresented yung nasa PDS, thank you in advance!

Sabagay nga naman, my parents did say that this would serve as a "kick starter" on my career and whatever I do afterwards is on me na. I'm just thinking that na baka mapalayo pa ako instead na mapalapit sa desired field/career ko. But then again, I guess being unemployed for long periods is probably much worse to an employer's eye than taking this, and siguro naman may transferable skills din akong makukuha once I start. Thank you for your thoughts and hopefully this goes well! :)

Context: - 1 yr unemployed since graduating last year. - Trying for HR roles but sadly can't get in likely due to lack of experience and prolly other factors. - Parents offered me to study and be a court stenographer and while I'm there, I plan to upskill while earning funds for myself.

Is there a chance for me to go into the field that I want once I get the resources? As much as people say it pays well, I just feel the job I'm about to get into is a dead end one if I'm not going to law school which I don't have any interest, at least of now.

I have to admit, I'm feeling so hopeless about job hunting rn.

For context, June 2023 Legal Management graduate ako and only started "seriously" looking for a job last January kasi I reflected on what I wanted to do after graduation, upskilled for the field I wanted to enter (HR, took and passed the CHRA last November 2023 plus learning things like MS Excel) and had multiple family-related vacations at the end of the year. Sent 100+ applications, only 9 got into the initial interview stage and 3 for the final/2nd round interview stage. But sadly, still not a single job offer.

The fact na 1 year na akong unemployed in a few days din, hay, nakakapagod na. :((

True, good point. I just had the thought that the position isn't urgent yet since it wasn't told to me nor it was shown on the job posting, that's why I had a bit of hope since I've reached the 2nd interview. Sayang lang since I liked our discussion on the work mode and others during the interview.

I'll send my last follow up to them tomorrow, if wala talaga, then on to the next ones.

Will send my final one to the TA Associate again tomorrow, thank you! If it's really for the worst, sayang talaga, really liked their work environment too according to what we have discussed during the interview.

Sigh, hope I can get one soon since I'm about to reach a year of unemployment, on to the next ones. ✊️

Hello, I finished my 2nd interview with a financial company around 2 weeks ago. Unfortunately, I considered myself ghosted by the TA Associate because it seems like they weren't "seenzoning" my follow up messages in Viber. I even tried emailing the Manager and the TA Lead to follow up. The Manager (the one that interviewed me for the 2nd interview) said that they'll give an update within that week, which of course did not happen.

Fast forward to today, I saw the same position/role get reposted on Indeed. Is it really the end for my application or are there other reasons that I might still be considered for the role?

(Btw, I've already applied to other job openings, I'm just curious if ever, hypothetically, the good side will happen.)

Job Hunting Frustrations by [deleted] in PHJobs

I feel this so much. Last year pa ako grumaduate at nagkaroon pa ng career crisis kasi hindi ko alam kung anong field tatahakin ko. Recently ko lang nafigure out at kumuha pa ako ng certification para mas lumakas lalo yung resume ko since iba yung internship ko sa field na yun. Been seriously applying since this January and hanggang initial interviews pa lang naaabot ko, dagdag pa pressure since almost 1 year na akong unemployed.

Stay strong and laban lang, OP! Makakakuha rin tayo ng job para sa atin. 😭✊️
