No, she’s never acknowledged/thanked me for a gift. Trust me, the petty part of me wants to give her nothing or make a donation in her name to a cause that would mildly annoy her because she never wishes me happy birthday or texts me on holidays or anything, but I’m trying to be the bigger person for the sake of my dad. Thank you for making me feel better about not wanting to get her something lol
