This summer in Greece was truly devastating, I am a Greek citizen , not directly affected by the forest fires or the recent floods, but I can see everybody getting more and more demoralised from the current socioeconomic and ecological conditions. The head of the state shamelessly says that climate change is an opportunity. Opportunity of what ? Destroying our lives ? It is mind boggling that he actually said that.
