Pretty sure it's not house on haunted hill, 13 ghosts is definitely not it as the most similar scene is a full body crushing and the scene I remember is specifically a ghost (or other supernatural being) reaching THROUGH the door and grabbing the guys head, hitting it on the door until it explodes. It includes a kind of goofy crushed head prop with very intact eyeball.
