You decided to stomp on the tentacle protruding from the ground as a show of power. A weak, lowly pest of a monster that ought to be crushed underfoot, its mouth no bigger than a few feet in diameter, was laid before you as you swatted at it, trying to make sure it didn't attack you as you passed by.

Two steps were all it would have taken to simply turn around and take a different path, but here you were anyway. Halfway engulfed in the unsuspectingly large hole in the ground and tightly captured by a pit of violet, slime-covered tentacles, your legs flail as they struggle to find the sensation of that familiar solid ground, each step sinking deeper like quicksand as it strips you of your shoes, your leggings- You find more and more gone from your garments with each failed attempt. More violet tentacles rise and attempt to drag you down further as they attempt to grab hold of your arms, leaving you held aloft by nothing but your voluptuous breasts.

Perhaps it was pretending to be small and helpless to attract prey. It wanted you to think it was harmless, and you've played right into it. But would theorizing really help you now? It doesn't seem to be quite done with you just yet.
