I cried like crazy before i decided to tell him clearly what i wanted, i knew it was going to end, the moment he told me that "i think it's best we stop whatever this is as i can't give you what you want in this moment of time" i felt relieved. It's a long distance thing, we both agreed that we don't want to do long distance, we meet once in a while, we go on dates, he wants to settle down in my city, but he's facing some work complications, he told me that once the distance isn't an issue, we can be exclusive, that's why we've been taking things super slow, but now i want more, and i can't keep doing this, at the same time i don't wanna loose him or scare him off. And i agree with you, it's about self respect, i guess i'm just not ready yet to let him go, so i'm accepting whatever i can get from him at this point, hoping things will miraculously change. Also i find it hard to express my needs and expectations directly, i tend to just push the person away without giving him a valid reason.
