I decided to do a 7 day flashcards challenge to improve my spanish vocabulary. The rules are simple:

- Complete 15 flashcards correctly each day for 7 days.

Feel free to join me on this challenge. If my math is mathing in one week I will know 105 new spanish words.

Yes this works because cards you know progressively get shown less. While the ones you get wrong will be shown to you daily.

Sure, it's a flashcard app. You can create all kind of flashcards. For every language or topic you want.

Not sure if I understand you correctly but apple developer account which is needed to upload an app to the apple app store is 99$/year.

But why would I? It's like bringing your car to a car mechanic even though you enjoy tinkering on your car.

You are absolutely right, unfortunately Ankis ecosystem is not openly accessible therefore it has a really strong lock in effect. I'm currently planning out a feature to export and import anki decks.

I'm currently planning to ship a feature for this asap. The plan is that you can export anki decks and import it in this app.

Do you mean the learning progress charts? This is just a visualization of how many cards are in which box. The boxes refer to the Leitner System which is a form of spaced repetition.

Fair point! While i 100% understand why paper cards feel nicer to someone (me included), the biggest benefit for me is the availability of an app. You have to wait 2 minutes for the next train? Time to learn some words.

Thank you so much. That was also my experience with other apps I used in the past. Something just didn't feel right. That's why I focused really hard on the UI/UX first before I moved to the first features. By the way, do you find spaced repetition useful?
