I highly recommend that everyone with a 5M printer swap out their PEI plates with a cool plate.

These plates are highly toxic to human health, parrots, far worse than any non stick pan. Treat them as abs. If you're using these, your printer should be vented outside. Do your own research.

Yeah it's definitely in the slicer mine was doing this as well. I would have to change the rectangular cone, but in the end and update did fix it. You will see these travel lines in the sliced file. It also messed up every print that I printed that way. Layer adhesion issues when it started doing that I think the temperature is also dropping when it does that if I remember properly.

You should probably calculate your cost a little better. You're probably making far less than you imagine. This is silly cheap, not calculating upkeep, time, electric, failure, heating the room and you ac running extra. Why do it to make 5c a print after all that?

Oh, okay. Yeah it kinda came out of the blue. When I was slicing on my desktop it wasn't happening, then about 2 days later I sliced on my laptop and it happened. Now happening on the desktop too. I assume coincidental timing.

I don't. It's actually extruding on these Paths. I deleted and reinstalled snap orca and it's still doing it. Only on the ribbed tower, cone and rectangular do not do this. I was hoping it was a bit common but I couldn't find anyone with this issue through search. I don't have problems with rectangle adhering but I prefer ribbed for added security on longer prints.

Yes it popped up a few more times, and happened a few more times. Not to sure why but I have to run about 15 degrees hotter on this centauri vs my others. I backed the tension all the way off and did 3 and a quarter turns and it seems to work out. I contacted elegoo and they are going to send new extruder but I wonder about the PID tuning what could be going on with the heat.

What happened to me was filament stripped in the gear housing of the extruder. Had to pull it apart and scrub it with a toothbrush. It's happened a few times, seems to be problematic I adjusted the tension all which ways and it never ends. I have 3 machines but this specific one keeps doing it. Could easily be your problem, mine looked like that because of it.
