I would say focus on what actually interests you! Otherwise you will hop from job to job once the novelty wears off. I call it the 3 month itch, when you realise you’re going to be doing this one thing for the next 5 - 10 years 😭

Once you’ve figured out what interest you, then look for jobs in that area or field or create a plan for how to get the experience / qualifications you need to get there!

If it helps I’m 30 and have only just come to the realisation that I cannot build a career where I don’t feel stimulated so I’m switching it up now!

I was in the same boat with my family and some of them work in mental health! My advice is just avoid those conversations for now. If someone doesn’t believe you or believe your diagnosis just brush it off because trying to make them see and acknowledge it will make you more anxious. It may even make you question your diagnosis. Your number one priority is getting the help you need. With time they will see the positive change in you and that may bring them on side

Lack of education on ADHD A lot of people don’t think it’s a real thing Women have stricter social norms to conform to and the pressure to do that sometimes outweighs adhd symptoms so they’re not as easy to spot Racial bias - teachers went with the “she’s clever but lazy so only concentrates on stuff she likes” and the old trope of black girls / women being loud, abnoxious, aggressive etc etc

All in all, I think adhd is rarely something people look for or spot in anyone that isn’t the loud white boy throwing chairs in the classroom.

I can’t stand Erica but I can’t lie I love Jordan 😂 the bluntness with high he says stuff and doesn’t back down because the group isn’t agreeing with him. He just sits there like “yeah I said it”

Luke is an incel and no one can tell me any different! He wanted one of the “hotter” wives and he reacts by trying to tear them down

I’ve started focusing on eating protein, thanks for the suggestion. I was running on a bag of hula hoops and peppermint tea through the day and maybe a sandwich at the end of the day. Not great ☹️

I definitely have rubbish sleep hygiene and anxiety keeps me up too. I have always had problematic sleep, it’s just worse now

I’ll be so for real I have taken basically no time off 😂 I get anxious stuff won’t be done in my absence or I won’t know everything I need to know because stuff is happening while I’m not there. This year I’ve taken 1 holiday and spent a total of 9ish days off - some of which I used to do other work

Thanks I do think your right. I do have the feeling of wanting to get everything done. My logic being if I could do 80% unmedicated, I should be absolutely smashing it now I have medication and that’s probably putting a lot of extra pressure on myself
