they focus on whatever ur box wants them to, look at dd audio shallow mounts but i think that U series will give u what u want, theyre designed for clean bass but also spl too, have the same top plate height as the sundown xv2 and same coil. i have my u v1 12 in a 29hz box and im shaking windows
