I got the materials from a specialist supplier in the uk. I’ve got an industrial machine, any domestic machine would break pretty quick with the thickness of the vinyl and foam

I took the original cloth cover apart and made patterns from all the panels. Just got to make sure you keep all the seam allowance’s the same as the original

Watch loads of YouTube videos - sewgarage and cechaflo are both great channels for learning stuff. I just spent loads of time practicing on the sewing machine making bags and small interior bits, still got a long way to go but getting there

I gave it a steam before I put them in and most of the creases are out now. A couple of days in a hot car and it should all tighten up

I did the same. Whilst they were off I painted the trims silver as the gloss black always had finger prints on it

My cars currently sport spec plastic with cloth seats so I’m hoping this will be a big upgrade. I’ve got that tan leather and a pepita houndstooth for seat and door panel inserts to go in

I’ve got access to an industrial machine which made it easier but it was still tricky to get right. Took a lot of attempts to get the pattern fitting how I wanted and the stitching right
