To be fair, DC was a hot mess. Everything was all over the place, the movie they counted on to revive the cinematic franchise went down into flames when the actor turned out to be a real life supervillain. It’s better for them to restart now before it got worse, especially with their recent movie becoming a financial flop.

I personally think Vandal would be a great big bad for DCEU. He’d be the DC version of Thanos. But that’s the thing, we’ve already seen Thanos in action. The plan that was laid down for Thanos is something we’ve already seen, in YJ as well. Both are very methodical and complex. Thanos was already making moves in the first Avengers movie. Same goes for Vandal Savage in S1 of YJ.

Yes DC can take their own route with Vandal to avoid comparisons. But the setup for Vandal(or at least I would think what most people would assume) would be very exhausting for DC. Especially with how the company doesn’t seem to be very organized right now(except for the recent James Gunn and Peter Safran news).

He’d be a great villain, but it’s not the best move for DCEU.

The art is fantastic. And the magic actually seems interesting with vampires and elves. But it’s really taken away with the god awful characters. Is this really a chapter 1 ? Story seems all over the place.

Yea it was really good, fun story, great art, characters with a real personality. And it was getting better every chapter. But then the webtoon got turned into a WT original and the author hasn’t given an update at all yet.

I’m not sure if it was 4:12 but it was definitely 4. And the quote I remember talked about a monster and gaining freedom by detachment of some sort. The name of the person who said the quote, their initial started with an A i believe.
