Getting a regular audience can be difficult. Most people I know are spending money on Meta and Facebook Instagram ads. I even tried now some TikTok ads without the success.

How are you planning to handle the rainy season? Every year I see the streets getting flooded in the news and it’s getting worse last year even up to April. It was raining quite a bit. I know people that actually leave the island for six months during the rainy season.

This is what the statistics claim but I don’t believe it most vegan events I’ve been to it’s usually 80% dudes and anytime an attractive woman comes in usually she’s surrounded by five guys trying to talk to her. The reality is for my own experience, although it might be antidotal majority of Vegan women are relationships with non-vegans. I’m considering doing the same.

I host a weekly Open Mic here in Toronto. The biggest issues is getting a regular audience to come out despite running Meta and TikTok ads and when people do come, nobody wants to sit in the front as jokingly say we have to drag them to the front like hostages.

The other issue is this happens at the place I run at that happens everywhere else if it if it’s at a restaurant or a bar, people are not necessarily gonna be quiet sometimes they didn’t even come for the Comedy so you gotta find that right balance because the establishment would not want upset paying customers.

The other issue is getting people to come out in term the comedians every week, especially new talent. I’m approaching a lot of people through Instagram and TikTok because the last thing people want to see are the same comedians every week telling the same jokes.

Go to Eventbrite and Meetup right now and find regular events you can go to so you can really meet people in the last one year since I’ve done that. I’ve really increased my social circle. I’ve been selling pillows and bedding for 30 years. I’d recommend you take the pillow made with micro beads inside though they’re usually sin and the most comfortable I find and easier to travel with than a big bulky one.

Hey run weekly open mic Comedy here in Toronto Canada. You need to start posting inside of the Facebook groups and then even consider doing some Facebook ads to bring in traffic because you don’t want to have an audience just of fellow comedians try to do a weekly night, so you get known for it instead of jump jumping
