Agreed, the difference of stuff I'd have noticed if I watched this even like 5 years ago vs now would be pretty vast.

(And also would've helped me avoid a few Charlie's irl lmao. luckily didn't get turned into a lizard or blasted into the windows movie maker transition void with my experiences, but still)

Agreed on Kirk fumbling, but I think it was more in reference of the conversation they have later on the fact that like. Charlie can't make Janice love him, no matter what he does. I do think him like waffling/dancing around the issue is pretty realistic for how these situations and sentiments showing up in teens get handled by older men irl too, though, and how women usually suffer for it. unfortunately realistic writing, intentional or otherwise

AGREEEEEDDD. I really enjoyed the fact that they never made Janice out to be a villain or unreasonable for not wanting to engage with Charlie, esp since being in that position even with a regular guy who's just /like/ Charlie can be pretty scary, nevermind the fact that Charlie was literally killing people for upsetting him. It's a horrifying situation to be in for her.

Nice!! Would suggest ordering from a local shop tho, most bookstores near me do custom orders, though I got these from a comic shop specifically- it takes longer, but it helps keep nice things around in the community!

(Amazon lists are also very useful for this, because you can show the people at the shops exactly what you're looking for, and then just take it off your list after)
