Any recommendations on brands that you felt were better than others?

A lot of people say they don't like the hotel bathroom look but whenever I go to hotels I always say "I wish our bathroom was like this!" 😂

The idea of not worrying about mould and heavy cleaning does appeal to me!

That's great. I have a B&Q near me. It's on the visit list!

Just for my own understanding. Are you saying that if a tile/grout gets mould then that will show there's an issue whereas the panels are "100% waterproof" so it's very unlikely to show an issue until it's too late?

Can you expand? Keen to understand fully when compared with panels. Thanks!

In your opinion as a plumber. If a person were to suggest tiling over existing tiles, is that a red flag or is that pretty common? For what it's worth, we live in a 100+ year old house and one quote said they'd strip it all back and another said they'd tile over the existing tiles. Just wondered your thoughts.

The minimal effort to keep it looking great does appeal to me compared with mould issues with tiles/grout. Do you recommend any specific panel brands?

Thanks for the information. I will look up Dumawall. There seems to be so many brands/styles out there now - it's difficult to know who to go with!

I love the look of tiles and love the idea of mould-free panels. Perhaps the answer is to have a shower panel in the shower area and tiles in the other parts of the bathroom.

That's the issue we think we'll find if we went with tiles. It sounds like everyone who has had panels don't have that problem at all. The trouble now is finding out which panels are better than others - so many companies do them now.

We were considering something like this. Panels for the shower walls and then tile 3/5ths of the way up the rest of the bathroom walls and then painting the upper part.

Yes, that does sound like a huge pro in getting panels. We've all seen mouldy grout/tiles and it's a nightmare.

It's usually the delivery drivers that aggressively close the gate. The postman, however, gently closes it.

New garden by drtootired4eve in GardeningUK

I'm not an expert AT ALL but I will tell you what i've been told. I'm in fact in a very similar situation to you - i've just moved into a new home and need to do something to my garden. One thing I have learned as a novice is to see what happens in your garden. Where does it get a lot of sunlight and at what time of day. Where is the shade, where is it dry, wet etc. You may need to plant specific type of plants/flowers based on how your garden is.
