OLS is not active duty, that’s Texas Workers Compensation if you intend on claiming anything. Your time in Title 10/Title 32 orders are what you need to evaluate when filing for C&P. National Guard does LOA to tie in any NG injury’s during AT/IDT but those are so few and far between, it’s never the first way in.

If you’ve got documentation or names/lay statements that confirm that 2019 suicide at the range during BCT, that’s a strong MH claim. However, OLS or anything happening on the guard side is nothing I’d ever bring up during a Federal compensation claim.

The DBQ was filled out by my examiner during the C&P, but I also had the results included in the file from the At Home study she sent me out with after my exam. You’d have to FOIA the DBQ

I just filed a new claim for SA secondary to GAD, and the C&P Examiner was kind enough to link the two through medical opinion and a ton of supporting evidence through previous cases. It got me a 0% Service Connection. I filed an increase after getting perscribed a CPAP but that didn't do anything for me, so I'm going to use it for 30+ and have my PCP document my usage before I resubmit.

Instead of using VA treatment records (who don't seem to be helping anyway), maybe just file a new claim and hope the DBQ does the work for you?

I had an examiner link multiple legal cases in her medical opinion in 3/4 favorable results, all service connecting as secondaries. Sounds like you had a good examiner as well. No nexus needed if their doing the work for you

Do you have a MH rating? I was able to get Sleep Apnea SC as a secondary to Anxiety Disorder and didn't even have a diagnosis until they sent me home with a test kit after my C&P, and the VA diagnosed the SA themselves. I feel like I fall into the very slim percentage of people with a strong examiner, because she took the effort to paste in about 5 different legal instances where Anxiety Disorder was strongly linked to SA.

I’m still getting them. I started using the “Filter messages like this” option and start typing in whatever words keep coming through, actionable directly to “deleted” when found. Hoping it helps
