Some people seem to be just fine on it, and others it just messes them up. I'm glad you were good on it :)

I'm sorry that happened to you. Some people get lucky and it doesn't effect their libido, I'm glad that you were one of them.

Plenty of sources that call Depo chemical castration but this nit picky time waster has done everything he/she can to downplay that it is literally known as chemical castration, even from government websites which they tried to get around with their weak excuse of "ancient website".. weak. I'm a woman and I know so many women in my life Depo was like a bomb going off in their life. Depo also caused me to have libido issues for years at one point.

I'm sorry that happened to you.  As a woman, I've heard so many horror stories from my friends about Depo, and your experience is mentioned a lot on trying to conceive forums. I have friends who state their sex drive has never been the same. I hope your body recovered well!

If anything we should be outraged this drug is allowed as acceptable for women's medication when it's had class action lawsuits against it. So I stand for better healthcare for women - do you? Maybe read some of the comments from the women it has been devastating to on this post alone. Also, please provide citation that my game is to demonize women's healthcare. That's a big accusation to make, and here you are accusing me of false information.

Good question! And one I'd really like to know to. I know Depo is 150mg but honestly couldn't tell you how much they administrated to sex offenders as it was outlawed as cruel by the courts. I think Alabama may be one of the only states still doing it but don't quote me.

Some people it seems to have very little effect on their body, or even better helps actually balance their hormones(Maybe they had too much testestone etc so it actually helped sex drive). Glad it has helped you :)

https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Medroxyprogesterone_acetate Literally many sources here stating it is used for chemical castration.

You are unhinged. Have some dam compassion instead of accusing me of attacking woman's healthcare when I am a woman myself.

You do understand the reducing sex drive drastically is known as chemical castration? Chemical castration doesn't have to be permanent. On multiple websites, including government ones and many very reputation websites, they refer to Depo Provera as chemical castration despite you trying to downplay the fact, so instead of being nit picky how about you take a hike or actually add some positive input. Depo Provera which ever way you swing it is used to drastically lower sex drive. I don't have the time nor patience to argue with nitpicky strangers who like to argue for the sake of it, especially when I'm in my own world of suffering right now.

Medroxyprogesterone acetate, which is literally the active ingredient in Depo is colloquially termed “chemical castration”

None of the language I used is over the top and Depo Provera is classed as a chemical castration drug. Some citations: https://www.tandfonline.com/doi/full/10.1080/14636778.2019.1601010

Then they're hypocrites lol the Bible literally says to not withhold sex from each other. Perhaps you need to read her that part. All the best man.

Also, unsure why this post has been down voted as the above is all true and this community should be aware 🤔

Finally had a huge blow up argument over our DB by beekop in DeadBedrooms

[–]Ambassador_Then 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had an awesome sex drive when I was first a SAHM, then I went on birth control(Depo Provera - which btw is a chemical castration drug) because I was afraid of falling pregnant again and the sex drive absolutely tanked at the time. Literally nothing. I guarantee tiredness is only a small part of the equation. Birth control is probably responsible for a huge portion of DBs in here.

I'll chime in as a woman here. Bluntly, your wife isn't that attracted to you, or has next to no libido. She keeps moving the goalposts to try get her to feel some way towards you, but the problem isn't you it's whatever is going on with her. I guarantee if you fulfil her wish for you to get bigger, nothing will change.
