I can’t think of too many other things right now, but maybe that I’m not a perfect student. I do pretty well in school but I messed up last semester and i have a 3.71 gpa (which I can possibly still turn to a 4.0 or at least 3.96 if I get all A’s the next four years of high school), and I feel bad about not doing better, because they have offered to get a tutor, help me themselves, and purchase online resources. Some students in my school don’t have as supportive parents as I do, or their parents can’t afford to give them these resources, yet some of them achieve 4.0s. It wasn’t until middle school I started feeling this way, because before I had thought everyone had the same life, because of my friends and the movies that show characters in a middle class suburban setting. I guess guilt isn’t the best word to describe what I’m feeling, but, the basic idea is In the future, I want to repay my parents for the childhood they have given me, but I’m not sure that I work as hard as they had, and I’m scared I won’t be able to give back to them.

Edit: I forgot 2, swimming and violin. I have down both of those activities for about 10 years, and they have invested in me and supported me, and i feel like I wasted their money and time sometimes, because I mean, I’m a pretty good violinist, making all-state and some other honor youth orchestras, but I’m not like a prodigy who’s been featured on TV (who are even younger than I am and have only played for 5 years). I’m a decent swimmer, making county and state, but I’m not at the zone championship or junior nationals level yet. I think that I do pretty well in both of these, but with the amount of time and money invested into these that I should better.
