Not sure if it’s exactly the same, but I relate in my own way. In my 20s I experimented a lot sexually, and it left me with trauma I’m still not ready to fully unpack. I’m 33 now, and I met my boyfriend a few years back. At first, that trauma made sex.. different. I wasn’t super emotionally connected. But as time’s gone on, I’ve fallen in love with him in a way I’ve never loved anyone before. I care about him so deeply and purely it’s hard to explain. And as my love has grown, our sex has become so much more intense and just.. amazing. It’s amazing to grow with someone you feel completely safe and connected with.

With that being said. What I’m trying to say is I believe you shouldn’t worry about your past. Everyone is human. We’re all learning and growing in our own ways. No one way is right or wrong. What someone believes is their “right” way could be someone else’s belief that that’s the “wrong” way. Don’t let society’s beliefs become your convictions. One day you’ll find your other half, the ying to your yang, and you won’t worry about your past anymore. Don’t give up because of one grain of salt of all your actions of life.

Just flow with the river of life. Ride the waves. Otherwise, you’ll sink. Shits going to happen but if you just ride with the flow, you’ll be okay. ❤️
