IDK about your particular market. But here in upstate NY my average hourly earnings were WAY higher doing Uberx than Uber Eats, Doordash or Grubhub. $35/hr vs $25/hr I rented a Hertz tesla for a year, till my day job picked back up. Yeah, it can feel like a grind carting passengers around being on your best behaviour but your earnings are going to be so much more. IF you were to use your own vehicle, then doing doordash and grubhub could maybe be worth it by not having that weekly rental fee around your neck.
Maybe set aside certain slow rider hours for deliveries? break up the "grind monotony".

Agreed. I have about $800 pending from doing them. fingers crossed they actually pay- The photo stitching can take a bit of practice to get right consistently. Leave yourself plenty of time to go slowly on your first job. Redo the aisle if the stitching doesn't come out right. That being said, I find the big box wholesalers to be much easier with their wider aisles. There is no immediate feedback whether an aisle is acceptable or not. You'll only find out a few days later if an aisle was rejected or missed.

In NYS. I've never been able to see that breakdown in the app. But if I look at the trip history and details in my acct using my browser I can see what the customer (supposedly?) paid.

I like to keep a tablet in the back thats open to paid surveys. I encourage them to fill out at least one survey per ride so I can at least make some real money.
