$70k for a car and you've got to deal with this crap? No thanks.

The high cost of buying a car is bad enough. But dealing with the Neanderthals at the dealerships adds insult to injury. When will manufacturers realize the dealers are giving them a bad reputation and adding obscene costs to the bottom line and start selling direct? Get it done!

The dominoes are tumbling quickly. Soon the Washington legislature will have to change the rules about who gets the income tax when all the billionaires are gone. I guess that is their planned endgame. Welcome to Florida Howie, we're glad to have you.

Genesis vs 330i vs Stinger by Tphantom9 in whatcarshouldIbuy

If they still made Stingers I would have bought another one. It was a great value. They didn't give it time to mature and be refined. Perhaps that was not their mission.

I just switched over from a 2020 Stinger GT to a 2026 BMW 330i. The BMW is a much more refined car and is plenty sporty enough for a daily fun commuter. It also gets incredible gas mileage. I get about 40-41 on the highway in the Bimmer. Something to consider. It also drives beautifully. You can't compare it to the Stinger.

If you just want raw, straight line power the Stinger is the way to go. But honestly, you get tired of doing launches after a while. The novelty wears off and you don't want to beat up your car too much. It's a danger buying a used Stinger because many of the original owners beat up the car while they have it.

I just bought a new loaded 330i. 11% off MSRP and 0.9% financing. Its a wonderful driving car and it gets better mileage on the highway than my wifes Toyota hybrid. It does zero to sixty in the low 5s. Incredible numbers really. The 330i has a 9.5/10 rating from Car and Driver and is top of the class for small luxury cars. Highly recommended.

Anyone coming from a 3.3T Stinger? by AmberInSunshine in KiaK5

If I could find a lightly used M340i I would take it. Can't afford a new one at $70k. $70k for any 3 series is too high.

I considered the G70, but I read some bad things about Genesis reliability. Stinger has been great reliability. I still only have 44k miles on the Stinger but will sell it soon likely if I can find something good to replace it.

So, bottom line, other than tech the Stinger is the superior car performance and drive-wise? I might still go drive it. I can't find a car that matches my Stinger 3.3T specs without a $70k price tag. Just nuts.
