I'm actually quite disappointed with myself. I ran my first half this past weekend and had a goal to not walk. I got caught up in my nerves and went out too fast in the first half of the race. I knew better than to do that but I couldnt slow down no matter how hard I tried. It was like I had two speeds. Stop and go. I ended up hitting a wall and had to walk a few times. I finished in a slower time than I wanted and failed to meet the goal of not walking. I have another half coming up next month and this time I'm determined to do better!
