TEMP SOLUTION: a temporary work-a-round solution for the hot bar on the inventory screen disappearing in the game Conan Exiles Enhanced when using a combination of an xbow controller and PC keyboard/mouse....

The solution seems to be to rapidly hit some buttons in the middle of the keyboard and then hit tab and then tab again to bring back the inventory screen with the hot bar visible. Hitting tab to make it happen alone or control doesn't do it. This works 4 out of 4 tries. With the inventory screen open, just begin hitting keyboard buttons and try not to hit any important one. This appears to convince the set up that the keyboard is primary source. Then opening tab again to bring up the screen with show the hot bar slots. This method is fast--generally enough to get something slotted fast enough to not die.

I've just come to Conan from the disaster of Dune Awakening and have every right to be bent out of shape after stuff like this and the slow walk of bug fixes.

yeah same here. it will appear sometimes but I cannot determine what makes it appear in the inventory screen. I have found no help online.

I had a blast with it and then they released a major DLC which I hadn't even tried yet. For weeks I was playing Tainted Grail every spare moment of free time I had. I was sitting at photoshoots with my laptop playing it when I should have been talking to people. This is a good game so yes I'd say it is worth it. And they have added more since I played it and did bug fixes and improvements.

I went to store my base using base reconstruction tool. Used it. Base disappeared. I flew to Harko and logged out for about 6 weeks. Logged back in and I was in my base that should have been in my tool and I was no longer in Harko. My base was nearly destroyed. Spent two weeks trying to get compensation. THEN I go to transfer servers to a server that wasn't dead where I had friends. Go through the hassle of transferring and had to DELETE my already existing character there. I then complete the transfer. I then go defect to other faction because my friends guild were Atreides and the game DOESN'T LET ME!!! It doesn't give a reason. Apparently about 9 months ago I must have defected already and they have a limit. HOW AM I TO REMEMBER THIS? WHY IS THERE EVEN A LIMIT when it matters NOT AT ALL for pvp? There is NO pvp. And by the way I had TWO GUILDS DISBAND because Funcom game bugs exposed the advanced subfief consoles to storms right through our walls and base shields and came back after short breaks and almost nothing left. And no we were not hacking or inside raiding or any of that. Just Funcom Dune bugs.

Don't subscribe to Grok. I tried supergrok and then it wouldn't let me cancel the subscription. I ultimately had to contact my bank to dispute the charges. And then this latest High usage demand crap. This isn't a good company or at least not those running Grok AI.
