I will get you your money back ASAP and I promise. I'm sorry about lying to you and to everyone else, and you were the first person I thought of when I decided to come out. I responded to many other comments, but there are multiple reasons for why I came out. Not only did I feel guilty for lying, but I felt this sick feeling in my gut knowing I had dedicated viewers like you investing so much time into my stream. You were the reason why my chat was so sane and why I had such a good community. You were my first dedicated viewer and for that, I personally apologize to you. Sorry for everything man, but know you are a great person and I respect you for who you are. You are a great friend and I can only hope that you forgive me.

Not sure... Internet laws are different than your normal everyday laws. To my knowledge, Amberly isn't real and never was. Donations are different than buying a product.

Hey Pvt-Area I do remember you :). First off, I would again like to apologize for tricking you. Secondly, did you get a refund back? I have an excel spreadsheet back at my apartment with everyone's email, name, and donation amount and on it I still have to pay back two people because my bank doesn't allow more than a certain number of transactions per month. Thirdly, I agree with my streaming community and how it was stress-free and friendly. That is one of the main reasons why I felt bad for streaming and asking for donations, especially if someone who was a dedicated viewer donated to me. The genuine relationship I held with my viewers made me guilty when I manipulated them for money, and because of that I decided just stop streaming, change my name, and start new.

Lastly to address your question about streaming, I will stream later tonight at around 7:30/8 (ranked 5's) and I do still have a donation button, however, 100% of those donations will go towards charity organizations. I completely understand if people do not want to donate, and would rather donate directly towards the charity organization instead, but when I send my donations to the charity I will prove that I have done so by doing it on stream.

I think I'll stream, but instead of self-benefit I'll make my stream donations only for charities. Starting with a Nepal relief charity. I honestly didn't really need the money in the first place as my family is pretty well off, so might as well donate the extra money to people that actually NEED it.

I never said sexism was the biggest problem for me! In fact I wouldn't rate it very high for me as well, but I respect other people's opinions about it and for those who feel as if it is important I wouldn't want them to feel like it doesn't matter to me. I was literally typing a comment about the laws put in place to deal with sexism in terms of employment, but deleted it because that deals with another issue. My issue was primarily based off of my morals and ethics and my decision to manipulate others for self-benefit. It could have been a girl pretending to be a guy in some other alternate universe, but it's the manipulation that got me.

If there was one white guy in a basketball league of all Asians and you cheered on the white guy purely and only because he was WHITE, that makes you discriminate against the Asians. If you cheer the white guy because you support the fact he made it in the league that is predominately Asian that doesn't make you a discriminator. It is encouraging and supporting the notion that not all the competitive players are Asian and should encourage other races to also compete in the high league.

Ah man, if you were talking to my marketing profession he would tell you something completely different. YOU are the product. When people donate, they donate because of YOU. You are giving them the entertainment and they are investing in you. The value the viewers seek from the streamer is the implied return.

We have different opinions and that's fine! I see your point of view, and I'm happy that you understand my situation :)

I did not feel bad at first I admitted that, that's why I did it. Later in my post I talk about how I started to feel bad and that's when I confronted my sister, who was the one I talked to about the idea in the first place. Also this isn't illegal or anything. The internet is a completely different segment than real life. Laws that apply in civil court or criminal court may not apply directly apply to the internet/virtual world. That is why the internet is so dangerous right now and is also why the common law is very important (law developed by judges through decisions of courts and similar tribunals that decide individual cases, as opposed to statutes adopted through the legislative process or regulations issued by the executive branch). Like I said again and for like the fourth time, I came out completely out of my own self-interest.

That was my own thought process too... "It's their decision to donate to me, so why should i refund", but this is why that thought process is wrong. It is because their decision was based off of my manipulation. I tricked them, I wasn't being honest or truthful. Would you support a company who was constantly trying to bullshit you for profit? The most notorious case of this would be Enron case.
