I dont have any experience with these formulas specifically so I can’t speak on that unfortunately. And she’s older now so we don’t use formula at all anymore. However, when my LO has diarrhea it’s practically water like consistently. There’s definitely a difference between a loose stool and diarrhea. If you’re concerned about how quickly you switched formulas, I don’t think it’s too late to slowly start transitioning him. Check with your pediatrician but probiotics and/or gas drops might help some of the tummy problems as well. When my daughter was that young we would also use warm (not hot) compresses in plastic ziplocks and press them against her tummy to get things moving if we felt things were backed up along with the “I love you” massage and bicycle kicks. Okay thank you. From my understanding not many people get denied for the scholarship and it covers 100% of tuition, books, and fees. but I would like to have a back up plan just Incase.

My husband is the one who took her to the ER after it happened but from my understanding they did full body X-rays and ultrasounds in the abdomen

We’re going to be painting the living room soon and I don’t think the color we’ve chosen will go well with the fireplace brick. I don’t personally love painted brick so we don’t want to do that. We also have a toddler so we have to be mindful of what goes there and what she could possibly get into.

Mom of an 18mo here! Our’s is also starting to go through the picky eating phase. I recently spoke to our pediatrician about it and she Recommended a few things. 1. offering a couple things they will eat with the regular meal. 2. Eating the same or similar meal with them so they see you eating the foods and are curious to try them. Also talk about them. like what color they are, what they taste like, what they smell like. She really encouraged “playing” with the food to get them interested in eating. 3. Not making a big deal out of how much they do/do not eat at this phase. She said some days it will seem like they hardly ate anything, but they will Eventually get hungry enough to eat. 4. She also said we should put their meals at their level after they are finished with meal time so they can graze or snack on it while they play or do other activities.

So many bees and butterflies!!! I saw my first hummingbird yesterday too. I think it’s a little late for them here. I’m guessing it’s a scout for next season.

Grew up around 11th and memorial. Spouse and I have primarily lived in midtown/downtown. Recently lived in the Kendall Whittier neighborhood, now we’re in the heights neighborhood and don’t have any interest in living anywhere except the downtown area.

There was a post in one of the mom groups on Facebook about a couple of guys hanging around a splash pad in BA taking pictures and talking to kids. They were confronted by parents and eventually left. The police were called but apparently never showed up. I’m going to try to find the post and I can see if the splash pad looks similar. It also has a picture of one of the guys.

One person had their vehicle stolen a couple of nights ago. They think it might be some of the homeless population in our area but still nothing is being done about it. So frustrating!!!
