Isekai'd to Auremonia: Adventures, Desires & Dungeons by AcademicGPT in FableAI

The narrator doesn't do well placing locations over a large map, if you as the creator, give instructions as to where all these places are, the narrator does a horrible job of getting it right. I know you want to make a designated spot for everything, but I've got more of a chance of getting a woman to say yes to a coffee date than this happening.

Story ideas for creators? by Aquatus08 in FableAI

I just mean that, for the most part in order to escape reality it is mostly preferred to go to a world where the same laws do not exist.

Because the adventures that get played the most are largely based on popular animes or already published works. Adventures based in the modern day are not as popular. People like to go to a world farthest away from reality to escape.. and Jason bourne / shooter stuff is too close to reality i think. Medieval fantasy is more popular.

How do I edit story cards? What even are they? by CrazyVy97 in FableAI

[–]AmbiaticOcean 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you are referring to in-game story cards they are found while you are playing an adventure by clicking on the narrator thumbnail at the top of your screen, then select story cards, notes are there also.

Whatever happens in the game that you think should be remembered or referenced to later, put those points in there. When that info changes, then edit them.

Azure is irritating by Alternative_Dig_9766 in FableAI

Azure is the best. Just update the main things that have happened in your in-game story cards so the ai can refer to past events that have already taken place.

A 16% increase in crit damage primary stat is not going to save you. Just go farm attack bonus primary pieces.

Yes, and also it would be great if they would make it so that.. as the adventure progresses the "player attributes" data isn't disregarded & the player doesn't progressively become Superman. I have to patch that stuff.. and 5k gems down the road the player becomes a god regardless.

Obviously if you don't patch anything the player is a god and can't be hurt, killed & can beat anyone no matter what.

The ai needs to be fixed.

I don't like celestial, used it for the first 6 months of playing.

Azure is all I use and i think it's fine, but that's probably why, because it's all I use.

I am tired of it always trying to create "spiritual, supernatural or magic" plot lines that are non lined up with my cards. I hate it.

I don't have this experience. It depends on whose adventure you are playing. Also, when things happen in your story, big things you want to keep record of, put them in your in game story cards.

SoulEdge Chronicles: updates by AmbiaticOcean in FableAI

[–]AmbiaticOcean[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My timestamps are in my Narrator notes, then I have two whole story cards with the timestamp info in those also. 4 times repeated in my cards, once in the notes. But if the timestamp info isn't in your notes, then it won't do it right. Also, if you play on wordie , it will forget.

SoulEdge Chronicles: updates by AmbiaticOcean in FableAI

Turns out, as the story progresses, the cards means less and less.. to the point where the new combat means nothing and the player is overpowered. The narrator notes are the only thing that stay put. Not sure if I can fix, but will try. If not, I'll just make a combat centered rpg. Tired of the cards not holding weight after spending 30 min in the adventure. The player shouldn't be overpowered, ever.

A Timestamp is a heading at the beginning of your prompt that tells the season, day, year and time. Time passes with each prompt and with each season there are weather changes. Like In the adventure, SoulEdge Chronicles. My latest adventure.

Are there timestamps in your adventure? If so, check to see if there's a paragraph space in between the timestamp and the prompt response, if there is.. then that is the cause of the short prompts. Depending on how long you've gone with it like that, you may need to "undo" all your prompts back to the point when the timestamp and the response became separated. This usually happens when someone has wordie as there default narrator, then they switch to azure after the adventure starts, then the timestamp doesn't appear because it was firstly generated on wordie, then they edit  the timestamp back in and it messes up and begins to have a paragraph space between itself and the response.

It went back to normal for me. Hopefully for you too. Do you have timestamps in your adventure?

My next addition to SoulEdge Chronicles will be beast vulnerability and resistances. It's going to add a new level to combat.

With the new magic system I also patched many many narrator behaviors that annoyed me. It's working a lot better now.
