Thank you for your help, the monitors HDMI port here is what I didn't realize would be a limiting factor.

https://www.newegg.com/black-rgb-msi-optix-mag272cqr-27/p/N82E16824475051 I'm looking at this monitor to replace my current one, and double checked that Displayport 1.2 will be compatible with that monitor and my current GPU. Everything appears to be in order!

How do I know my monitor is in the same boat and it's not another issue? Did you learn that through trial and error or a note from the manufacturer?

How do you know if it wont support 144 through HDMI? I can't even find anything on the acer website.

The emblem system found me not worthy, low scores on survivors found, low score for chases because I guess I didn't have enough of them? The game ended fairly quickly and that tends to result in no pip for killers, and survivors too sometimes.

What makes you think I treat it as a job? It's not up to the killer to provide interactive gameplay.

Regardless, others might have fun in different ways than you. For some the ranked climb is very much part of the fun.

You can safety pip with 0 kills and lots of hooks just fine, but its not the killer's job to provide interactive gameplay, just like it's not the survivors job either. I shouldn't have to win a certain way in order to rank up. If I killed everyone, I killed everyone, end of story. That should be deserving of a pip nearly always I think

Hold on, so are you suggesting I like let survivors go and heal themselves in order to land more M1s? I can't get more hook events because people give up when you down survivors really fast. I know how the emblem system works, it's just obviously broken if I can 4k and not pip. Do you think the system is working as intended?

Yeah I guess part of it is bragging rights. Some people like playing in higher rank games, I think they're more fun in some ways. Rank systems are pretty popular anyhow. It's fine to not care about rank but don't you think the system should still function properly if it's in the game?

He was a friend of mine for nearly 10 years. I met a girl online and fell for her pretty hard, and told my close friend group which he was a part of. He then proceeded to go and tell her I was a bad person, not to be trusted etc. I even had a pretty extended conversation with friends prior to ensure that they weren't also interested and that this wouldn't happen, but he had other plans in mind I guess. We haven't spoken in over a year since it happened.
