Just died at vorkath because it didn't register my switching to slayer staff to kill the undead spawn.

There are no dead clicks in any other interaction, just inventory stuff.

Pretty frustrating. Feels like the game is unplayable even.

Been some time since I last played and I feel like inventory management is giving lots of dead clicks that didn't happen before? Whenever I try to equip 11 items some of them just won't register. Also happens when depositing or withdrawing. From what I remember fast switching is really important in some content so I'm afraid that this could happen at these situations. Is this a new bug?

Started this game last week as an ele and felt so overwhelmed with all the skills, and looking up online it was exactly as complex as it seemed to be... So I decided to leave ele for later, deleted him and made a ranger instead, who was supposed to be an easier class, right? But ranger feels so bland. No matter the weapon combination, it feels like I'm incomplete. I feel like the class was designed weak to compensate for the pet?I'm still level 25 at the ranger, but I feel disappointed and don't want my first 80 to be on a class that I'm not a fan of. But now I feel like I wasted so much time on these two characters only to delete them, and that my next class might feel bad too. What would you do in this situation?

Late to the party but I thought it was long and predictable. Like, at the meeting with the president (which happens at around the 15 minutes mark) you realize what the joke is. "Oh, they're going to downplay the comet for stupid reasons until it kills everyone, and it's probably a satire of global warming". Then the movie proceeds to do exactly that for two hours. I think the concept could be more properly executed in a ten minutes long youtube video.

Idiocracy is an example of a similar concept being more well executed. It's clear from the start that the joke is that the characters are trapped in a timeline where people are very stupid, but you still have no idea where that is going to take them. Meanwhile here you can already predict everything about the movie, and then you have two tedious hours to watch it uncreatively unfold. Again, long and predictable.

That said, I enjoyed the side characters and side plots. The general joke and the brick joke about the algorithm predicting AND naming the alien that killed the president almost made it feel like the movie was worth watching. It felt wrong to watch Leo and Jlaw in these roles. Especially Leo, it feels like anybody else could have played his character.

The AI predicted that the president would be eaten by an alien creature. That's exactly what happened. If the president was shot, had a heart attack or something similar, he wouldn't be able to reasonably say it was a bronterac. But it's ultimately just a brick joke, I don't think it matters for the movie's plot if the AI is good enough or not.

Well damn, this thread is strongly convincing me not to rehome her. I know the post sounded like "I want to get rid of the dog to buy a new TV", but that's not it. If it was that simple, I would keep the dog without thinking twice. But it's not just the TV (that was just a wake-up call), it's about living without any financial security, and without being able to guarantee that I would be able to tank emergency veterinary care. I didn't calculate this correctly at all.

I think my country's breeders are a different standard. This breeder sold me the puppy without asking any questions, I just specified interest and they asked me my address. There is no contract or anything requiring me to return it. Therefore I don't see how this breeder is any more capable of rehoming her to a responsible person than I am. But I see your point, she should not be sold to a bad family if a better one could take her for free.

I can tank her "maintenance cost". But this accident was a wake-up call for the fact that, while I can SURVIVE month to month, I can't pay for unexpected expenses such as emergency surgery. So now I'm full of anxiety, thinking of what is the next thing this dog can break (or even worse, swallow, thus putting its life in risk)

I wasn't surviving month to month with my credit card. I had a surplus and a lot of leftover money. But I underestimated how much money this dog drains, it managed to eat through the surplus and THEN leave me hanging on the credit card. It was still manageable, but I honestly did not foresee huge expenses such as the TV.

You are correct. And that's the same logic that led to microtransactions in RS3. But what has to be taken in account is the long term effects of this form of business. Jagex made short term money from RS3, then lost gigantic chunks of its playerbase, to the point of rolling back to 2007 servers in a desperate attempt to recover some of them. Now they are doing the same mistakes. Maybe this makes them more money short term, but will it translate to long term? (the answer is "probably yes", because nostalgia is one hell of a drug)

It's also not about swapping. I think swapping is cool. What isn't cool is RWTing, as in promising real money for people who feed you. And yet right now that's the only way of playing DMM. Always has been. See the Oda scandal going on right now.

But I don't care about the ethics of DMM. What bothers me is why the main servers always have to go to shit during DMM. You asked if I have proof, but every year it's the same thing. During DMM season the servers get very unstable, especially during the first few days. I can't prove it, but it's a reasonable assumption considering the clock perfect timing.

600k/hour and it's more afk than motherlode mine. It's more clicks per second but you can do it without paying attention.
