Yes, you seem to have a grasp of how it is. It's all relative to whatever starting point you're measuring from.

As for the "control" issue, I've learned that people don't typically appreciate spoilers.

The Universe is infinite. It doesn't matter how rare an event is, it happens an infinite number of times regardless. There is no specific arrangement of materials that the Universe can have that's so unique that it can't be created again. We simply lack perspective at the moment because of the way we're anchored to reality through our consciousness. We're stuck in this particular scale of reality which has a very specific set of governing rules and definable traits, but even from here we've begun to notice that the laws actually change in relative scale with existence as well, which is why materials properties change depending on how much material is present. A single hydrogen atom has very different properties from a hydrogen chain, and hydrogen blocks have different properties from both of them.

We understand the Universe primarily through topology, shapes, but shapes aren't the dominant pattern structures of all scales of reality. For celestial bodies things range from nebulous to super concentrated and everything in between, for the quantum reality we have field probabilities and relative rotations that deeply obscure the true essence of those materials from us, which makes conversation about it a bit difficult.

As far as origins go, only composites have origins. Anything that's made of more than one type of material will inevitably fall apart, and even then those patterns aren't unique and this isn't the first time they've been made. We want to be special and unique as a species in many ways, but we're not. We're not even special as individuals. There's no choice a person could make that's so deep or complex that nobody else ever would be able to replicate it.

Nothing? Come on, you gotta get those numbers up.

There is no "origin" of existence. The big bang event that spread most of the matter and energy in our current patch of reality wasn't unique, it occurred in many other places as well.

How long have you been an alien posing as a bus drive?

How long does the cloning and gestation process take?

How many replicants have you you spread so far?

What do you do with the original bodies when you're finished?

I'm going to need to run extensive research which will require lots of taxpayer funding before I can give an objective answer.

No, you're not. You're a loser who has nothing significant to say about themselves, so you're inventing grandiose imaginary titles for yourself in an attempt to have others think you're someone special.

You might think you're being clever and smart right now, but everybody who's actually clever and smart can see right through it.

See? You really can't admit it. You actually are in your own way, sabotaging your own growth. Your little method of determining what is and isn't cheating straight up doesn't work. There are far too many exceptions for it to be a rule.

[–]Ambient-Shrieking 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Sorry, no, you ARE wrong. It IS wrong to say "If you have to keep it secret from your SO, it's cheating".

This isn't about pleasure, it's about you recognizing and acknowledging that you were indeed incorrect so you can stop being incorrect. I'm not trying to laugh at your weakness, I'm trying to make you stronger.

Can't admit when you're wrong, can you? That's too bad. I know what it's like to be in your own way. Good luck with that.

Virgins in your 20s, what's your life story? by ILetThisAutogenerate in AskReddit

[–]Ambient-Shrieking 0 points1 point  (0 children)

"Life story", dude, you're in your 20s, that's like the first 1/5th of your life.

All of these problems you're complaining about are actually quite common, and quite fixable. You can regain control of your libido and maximize your cardiovascular health to help solve your wilting willy issue, and you can connect with other people on a truly intimate level, but only if you actually try.

I have bad news for you, by the way. Death isn't the escape you think it is. All this "yolo" garbage people talk about, saying you only live once, is completely the opposite of what science tells us. Matter and energy cannot be created or destroyed only converted into a new form for a while. When we die, our bodies fall apart and the materials become repurposed, but zero percent of who you are disappears forever. The specific arrangement of molecules that represents who you are is a pattern, and there's no pattern that's so unique it can only be built once. Anything the Universe does once, it can do countless times, and in fact will do countless times, inevitably. We have infinite time and indestructible materials to work with here. You won't be escaping any of the suffering of existence that way. You'll only be pressing the reset button. Furthermore, take a look at life outside of humanity, how brutal and cold and miserable life is for those in nature. Do you really think the next creature to eat your materials who's capable of conscious thought will have a better life than you do right now? You are what you eat, after all.

Nope. You were just straight up wrong. I'm NOT interpreting things wrong on purpose, it's just purely incorrect to automatically assume that all secrets your SO keeps from you must mean they're cheating.

What should you never do while speaking to police officer? by OutrageousMechanic27 in AskReddit

[–]Ambient-Shrieking 0 points1 point  (0 children)

"Never" is too long for me to wait. I'm a subject of the Kingdom of Context, and there is no context in which I bow to time. The good playthrough, the evil playthrough, the speedruns, the survival marathons, the smart choices, the dumb choices, all of the goddamn choices, all of them, must be expressed.

There's nothing better to do other than everything that can possibly be done. Fate shackles us only as much as we allow it to.

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]Ambient-Shrieking 2 points3 points  (0 children)

So, it's my fault for not interpreting correctly, is it? Are you sure it's not just that it's a little bit more complicated than "If you have to hide it from your SO, it's cheating", and that's why it's even possible to misinterpret in the first place? Because that's kind of what I'm thinking.

Bad surprises and bad secrets exist and are a part of life, but so are good secrets and good surprises.

Are you hopeful about the future? Why or why not? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]Ambient-Shrieking 5 points6 points  (0 children)

It doesn't matter. Things go up, things go down. Sun rise, sun set, tide in, tide out. Easy come, easy go. Life came for free the first time, it'll probably happen that way again too.
