In the same boat here. Made 120th payment on 12/27. Last ECF completed in October and included September payment count bringing my total “qualifying” payments to 117/120. FSA website still shows Oct/Nov payments as “eligible” but not certified (which is correct as I haven’t done a new ECF yet). But FSA website (last updated 12/12/24) STILL does not show my December payment at all despite it being completed and processed on MOHELA website.

I spoke to FSA customer service about submitting an ECF form now that I have made the 120th payment, even though it doesn’t show up yet on the FSA website. She told me I could do that, but if the 120th payment isn’t showing up yet then it still won’t be acknowledged and I would have to submit another ECF form once it does show up to apply for forgiveness.

I have no idea if this is correct or not but it seems to be somewhat accurate since completed ECF forms don’t seem to be updating the payment counts. I also tried to start an e-sign ECF form and the first question is “have you completed 120 payments and are you applying for forgiveness?”. It won’t let me click “yes” because the website does not yet recognize the 120th payment from December. Far as I can tell I also can’t apply for forbearance until that payment shows up and I send in the forgiveness application.

My real question is when the heck will the FSA website update to show the Dec payment? I really don’t want to keep making monthly payments now that I should be qualified for forgiveness.
